Hi all, really need some expert assistance please...
Recently had to retire a couple of 'golden oldies' as their twighlight years have caught up with them.
My arsenal was:
Storm Lock (OOB finish) - Heavy Oil - Love this ball, but needs oil
Legends World Class (Polished) - Med/Heavy - big, early, continuous arc
Legends Black Pearl (OOB) - Medium - easy length, late driving continuous arc
Having to retire the two legends balls so was looking at Storm/Roto options to replace these and possibly add a an option for med/light conditions too if I can justify it.
I am a slightly speed dominant stroker/tweener. Speed: 16-17mph; Revs: 390
I was thinking of a Snap Lock/No Rules Pearl to replace the World Class and a Dare Devil to replace the Black Pearl but my PSO said the difference between SL/NRP and a DDmight be too close. What are people opinions on this?
Was also thinking of adding a wreck em or POW hustle as another step down but the wreck em looks fairly strong itself?
Would really appreciate any help on this as have to order them tomorrow to get them in time for leagues/Comp this weekend

There's a lot of combos you could run under a Lock. Kinda hard to find a direct replacement for those two. Here's some I would consider running past your PSO
1-2 combos (one from 1 list and one from the 2 list)

Dare Devil Trick
Snap Lock
RocketShip
Hy-Road

Hy-Road Pearl
Dare Devil
Wreck-em
Again so many routes you could take here that's just some combos that come to mind.

For the big, early continuous arc motion to go under the Lock you might be looking at the Dare Devil Trick. The early feedback on that ball is very positive and it sounds a good fit like the role you're looking to fill.
A ball with easy length and late but continuous motion sounds like the original Dare Devil. The Hy-Wire might fit there too. And then of course the Hy-Road or Hy-Road Pearl. A Wreck-Em could fit the bill too although that might not be continuous as much as it is very strong off the spot.

Alonso, Coor and Lefty....thank you very much for your help guys, really appreciate it.
I went with the Snap Lock, as I like the RAD-X core in my lock and it looks like (despite being a pearl) it generates a heavy roll like the Lock but goes longer, and the Dare Devil as it looks a versatile symmetrical ball.
Will see how they go and then depending on the strength, reaction etc and any changes I make to the Dare Devil surface will pick something to go underneath

Anytime, you already have a plan in place with how you wanna set up your revised Arsenal; let us know how it goes for you, or if you need a suggestion for a lower end piece to go with your Lock, Snap Lock, and Dare Devil.
