Please no more plastic (It's really polyester) balls with cores.
Either a pearl urethane with the Silver Streak core (my ideal!)
or
a cover milder than the Sure Grip Pearl, with the Sonic-X core.

Kind of a derogatory expression of Yiddish origin, I believe.

In my opinion:
We have tons of plastic balls, useful but not required by anyone (except maybe a Roto-Grip staff bowler on a PBA TV Show who must use an RG ball).
There is a definitive need for resin dry lanes balls and a definitive need for pearl urethanes, which all companies except Brunswick and Columbia have discontinued.

Hopefully this thread will spark some "ideas" to Roto's R&D department!

I'd like to see a "control ball".......

charlest...

at the moment, the spare ball is the gap in the RotoGrip lineup.  It used to be aptly filled by the clear grenade, but that ball has been discontinued.  While not a staffer, RG is all that I throw, hence I am on that eagerly awaits the new introduction into that area of the lineup (my clear grenade is showing some signs of cracking, and I cannot use plugged equipment...NIB replacements are next to impossible to find in the 14-15 weights).

Our Cosmos Polyester balls are in stock...they will be on the new website when we get the updates all made.  Sorry again for the delay in the website, but with doing 2 NEW ones at the same time it takes a while.  We have 1 colored spare ball, no need for anymore than 1.  Just something for those Die Hard Roto Grip fans and staff members.  We aren't trying to focus on that area, but do need atleast one.  Unfortunately getting these balls made overseas with the war going on and all the financial issues in Asia we are having problems in knowing when we can get re-orders here to the U.S.  This is why we won't release it until the Summer when we know we can have balls here within a few weeks.  Any other questions please call me at 888-450-6920.

Thanks,

Michelle,

I understand completely; thus, my parenthetical statement addressing that (OK, maybe you don't need to be on TV to need a spare ball.).

Track never addressed that need; so they could hardly complain when Track bowlers used a Columbia plastic spare ball (on PBA TV shows).
