Pearl Cell on it's Way
« on: March 24, 2008, 10:28:39 AM »
I'm not sure if anyone else is excited but I just found this on the Roto Grip website and I can't wait. http://www.rotogrip.com/products/balls/ball.asp?ballid=77 I know that it is an international release but that means its on its way to be a big release.

I know that I'm excited for one...

...I really like what I've seen out of the Cell's that we've drilled but for what I see it would've required polishing to get into my bag.  A pearl version would be a great seller and I would punch up one for sure.

.. I think that part of your statement refers to what half of Ballreviews would do! Haha. Everyone seems to love the Cell! I'm even thinking about getting it one day for my first Roto ball!

Not pearl, but solid/pearl hybrid.

Isn't this just the international version of the Cell?

I don't care what it is, it would be cool to have a pearl on that core, I'm thinking "what the x factor should have been" it was SOOOOO close, but not quite, this could be my coolaid for years!

Don't pour the koolaid yet!

The link is for the Strike Cell a polished 3 color hybrid reactive with the same core as the original CELL.

Roger I would be afraid of a full pearl cover on that core. I like the idea of a hybrid on it. I would love to see it the other way around and 2 parts pearl 1 part solid. I just think full pearl with that core would be way to powerful on the backend and you would have to put it in the gutter to keep it on the right of the head pin.

P.S. Roger, thanks for the help on my ball selection, I am going with the Venus. I will let you know how it works.

I'm getting one next week. All the bowlers I know who have one have been bowling great and are getting paid in jackpots.
