Title: wrecker success
Post by: 2handedrook12 on September 08, 2013, 06:23:42 PM
Yesterday was my first day of league and I saw a large number of the wrecker. Those that have a wrecker, how did you drill it and what kind of bowler are you? I think the only reason I didn't like mine was because it had a strong and early revving layout. I'm thinking of buying another or possibly a rumble. I found my favorite layout now and my physical game is back to the top.

Normal pin up drilling.  For lower end and mid priced symmetrical balls, I always do cg in my palm and pin above the fingers.  In terms of a dual angle layout, it  will slightly vary ball to ball for me, but I always keep it relatively the same. That layout gives me the best length and flip combo

Even though I have the Frantic (not as much skid/flip as the Wrecker), I generally do the same that billdozer mentioned.  Pin up with CG in the palm area, which gives me a good combo of skid/flip.  No need to do exotic drillings on the lower end and midrange balls.

Does anyone think maybe i should try a Wrecker with a simpler drilling? I see everyone do so well with their wreckers and it makes me wanna give it another chance. I think the strong layout spoiled mine. I need a lower end ball that has more flip.
