Drilling a Sinister
« on: September 04, 2014, 12:17:21 PM »
I need something that hooks, so I'm going with a Sinister.  Should have arrived today, so hopefully I can drill it before league.  Most likely going to leave the box surface on it, going with a 65x5.25x40 layout.  Hopefully this will allow me to play the track at my home house, it's been an over/under nightmare for everyone this year.  The "bumper" from 1-7 is super strong, and then from 7-12 it's ok for practice until the track carries down a little and then nothing will hook so we have super wet/dry.  Hope to be able to play the track with this and not have to try to bounce the bumper at 40 feet.

Should also work well at the other house which is a little wetter up front.  Nice backend motion, but sometimes I have trouble getting the ball to rev.  Made some mechanical changes and I have a higher rev rate now but also get out of it cleaner, so I think I'm getting some hydroplaning I didn't used to have . . Anyway, this ball looks like it fits the bill from everything I've seen.
What would you be if you were attached to another object by an inclined plane, wrapped helically around an axis?
