heavy-med oil?
« on: November 22, 2008, 03:57:36 AM »
I have an original Twisted Fury with the pin 3 3/8inch below the fingers with my pap being 4 inch to the right and a 1/2 inch up and i need something more. I was kinda between either Twisted fury solid of the original CELL. I like to play anywhere around 15 swinging it to straight up 10 anything inside 20 not to comfortable. i throw the ball about 15mph not sure about revs but for sure speed dominate. So im just asking between those 2 which one fits better and what kind of of drill exact #'s? thanks for you opinions.

Get the original Cell and drill it 4x 4 pin above the fingers. This ball flat out moves on any decent amount of oil. Prior to this ball the Epic Battle was my favorite for heavy oil. You will not be disappointed!!!!

An online website has the epic quest at a good price... Would it handle longer patterns? I'm a 15-16 mph stroker. The balls I have just don't rev up soon enough. I have a big bang, terminator, vendetta, and roto-grip venus.

I had a strong drilled Quest and if there wasn't enough oil on the lanes it would melt at the arrows.  I could have polished it but I didn't keep the ball for long, don't see enough oil ever in these parts.

I basically share the same speed (15-16) and it really dug into the lanes without trouble.

The Quest is fairly aggressive, similar to the Term sanded, but more so. If you don't have enough oil or enough ball speed the Quest will burn up quickly. You have the Term. Just take off some of the shine a little at a time. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
