For me, similar overall hook, different shapes.  The Mutant Cell Pearl for me has a sharper motion downlane.

Great videos.  Just curious, for the surface change video, did you just apply the change straight to box finish or did you go down first (i.e 500 then 2000)?

Hey Chappy,

We have been doing our surface changes by hand right over top of the box finish.  Doing them by hand and not a spinner, along with going directly to the target grit seems to help keep the surface profile in tact better.  Meaning it still acts like it has that 500 base grit, because we cant apply enough pressure by hand to change that.  You probably know this already, but for those who dont, If i was to throw my mutant cell pearl on a spinner and hammer it with a fresh 4000 pad, the ball may have actually gone straighter and mellowed out in the backend because the surface profile was gone.

Which is actually a pretty good thing for me I'm seeing as of late.  I get to stay further right and stay there longer.
