70x4x40, Surface is abralon steps starting at 1000 and going up to 4000.

Characteristics: When I first heard this ball was coming I imagined it to be a screaming back end beast...not quite. DTSE is great for those tournaments where the track is cooked and you need a ball to get down and corner but not hook off the planet. Or a THS with a higher friction track area.

Reaction: DTSE gets down the lane easily, if the lanes are totally blown up you can get inside and get it down lane to the break point and it will corner hard enough to carry. If their is still hold in the track or outside you can go quite straight with it if you need to. DTSE does require dry lanes to work if you are going to use it on any higher volume of oil you will need mighty hand.

This ball in my eyes is a rarity. It has old school looking reaction to it. I have never had a ball better on the break down than DTSE the ability to get down to the break point and then corner  without a wicked turn makes a great combo. It mixes the pins up very well and drives through them like a champ on flush hits.

Need a ball on the break down give Desperado TSE a try.

COMMENTS

Likes: Control. 70 x 5.5 x 70  balance hole on left side.  I loved the controlled downlane motion I had with this layout and surface prep (2000 abralon)  Hands down, the best look I've ever had on short patterns.  I am thoroughly pleased with this ball on any short pattern.

Dislikes: If I don't give it side rotation, i will not make it to the pocket.
