I feel like another company is involved or something otherwise not wouldn't be a "top secret" vibe..

Like storms buying their plant... or something.

Hard to find a plant putting out higher quality balls in my opinion.  With a much higher R&D budget and Storm's strength in chemistry be a match made in heaven if true.  How awesome would it be if they buy the rights to remake some of the Visionary prior balls as well.  Man would I love to get my hands on a NIB The Classic at a reasonable price.

I think the other way around, storm takes over, starts making assyms there due to high quality pours etc. I only have one ball from the visionary plant so I'm not certain what my opinion is st the moment.

I don't think it was the casting machines as much as it was the fact that Jason and company has such a tight QC process. Every ball was logged and if you called in with a serial #, he could tell you the weight, pin and top weight within seconds because every ball was inspected prior to leaving the factory. No other company does that because of the sheer volume the other companies pump out, thus the higher quality of product that hits the market from the VBP plant.

Here's the plant you make up your mind.  Google Maps link from Aug. 2012.

Seen the picture before, they poured balls for siesmic, last year with balls still in testing as we speak?

Is there another section still in production bof this plant?

The obvious answer is it's boarded up and closed...but if they're still making balls...?

Raven line was 2015, 3 years after this pic.

Last ball VBP released was The Crow 2 years ago summer of 2016.  That's all I know.

Once a company no longer is PBA sanctioned means they are probably on the wrong side of economy of scale.  Have no inside knowledge and love the hell out of my Visionary pieces (by the way sorry to pollute Seismic forum) but when an industry isn't growing its usually the small guys who suffer most.  All that said in my honest opinion Jason has proven for quite some time that factory can do top quality pours.  Guess the question is can it be done at scale and profitably.

Right. So it could be no more VBP, and what Jason and a small team produce and pour the siesmic balls a batch at a time? I wonder if the production factor has just shrunk, and is in a portion of the warehouse and not the whole thing.

The fact their web site news hasn't been updated since 2015 and no balls in 15# all summer told me better get as many Visionary balls as you can now which I did (had to get a fair # of them in 16 though oh well).  If they come out with new stuff hooray, love their stuff so much but we shall see.  Only thing I regret is not getting a Classic or Samurai.  Edge to Visionary stuff is it will be around long time regardless of what happens going forward.
