It's all that forward roll. I'm very forward too and 8 pin all the time.
I watched your blackout video as well....You use pin in the palm from very deep? I thought that drilling was supposed to be pretty early and rolly...not something that would turn the corner like in the video.

I can only use that layout really deep or playing straighter on higher volume short patterns
