Title: Nova, are you still averaging 240 in league?!
Post by: DaveW on January 19, 2010, 09:08:10 PM
I know you'd let it slip (tongue firmly in cheek) to 236 after 11-12 weeks .. how's the average holding up?

LOL! Not quite, but I have not slipped below 230.
I am holding in there at 232 right now. After I threw my first 300 with the Epicenter, I put that ball away...retired it for sentimental reasons

I switched to a Bounty Hunter Pearl drilled the same as the Epicenter. The BHP was a fair bit stronger and read the lane earlier. After fighting with it for a couple weeks, I took the BHP up to 4K and added a healthy dose of polish. Now I am back on track. Shot 740 with a 287 last week. I'm having a blast!

As for the Epicenter, I am torn. Do I get another one or wait for the next Seismic release? I cannot bring myself to throw the first one again (Stupid, I know. But I'm not changing my mind!).

Why would you retire a ball you shot 300 with while its fresh? Burn that cover up then place it on the shelf.
