They didn't have a Blackout Addiction and the name Addiction isn't protected any longer! That's how Motiv was able to use Primal Rage even though Columbia used that name back in the day!! Plus, the name isn't a trademark of EBI and isn't currently being used and hasn't been used for a while!

So I got the ball and the pin distance was only 1.5 inches....My pro shop guys layed it out a bunch of different ways and didnt really like how it looked. So he suggested 40x4.25x60 as the best looking layout for that ball. I wanted to follow Meno's suggestion( 50x5x30) but he told me he would have had to drill the fingers to china to make that work and didn't think it was a good idea.
So he is drilling it tonight and I will pick it up tomorrow afternoon and give it a try. That layout put the pin right below my ring finger and the MB on my VAL....so Im curious to see how it reacts....
We need to get a shop up here in the chicago burbs that can learn and sell Seismic....Im the only one I know of in the area that knows anything about them. Exceopt for the guys who have seen me throw the Blackout..lol My shop is a DV8 staff member but knows not to push me that way...lol

I am new to the seismic addiction also, i have sold everything i had, and for now on will only throw seismic. I threw my longhorn for the first time last monday, shot 618, ball does what's advertised, left alot of frickin 10 pins though, which is a common theme in our house. Just ordered a stampe, can't wait to get it punched and throw it.

In reference to names being used before... look at the Primal Rage from Motiv, ring any bells?

I also wish a shop in the burbs of Chicago would start to sell Seismic. I have both Aftermaths and am still wanting a Longhorn.

Sevenpin, best place is online out here. By the time you pay the amount for the ball + drilling, you're at what you would pay retail.

I know Doom, it would just be nice to see the ball in person before I buy.

I bought the Platinum before i saw a video, I was nervous, but it is a great ball....They are always spot on with what the ball is made for. I have had quite a few seismic balls and have loved almost all of them..
