Im a firm believer in drilling a strong ball strong and use it accordingly. Than buy another and use an exotic layout to get you to play a different part of the lane. But to me, the first one should be used for what it's designed to do.
My Raging Bull only sees action on the heavy/long patterns, or if I'm trying to break down a pattern to give me a wee bit more area. Same thing with the Aftermath, medium to heavy patterns, I use this piece more than any on the sport patterns. At 1000 or 2000, it blends most patterns real well. I have a feeling the Venator will fill that bill also.
