Seismic Equipment Issues
« on: May 27, 2010, 02:18:56 AM »
A teammate and I will be participating in a few Summmer PBA Regionals this year. Unfortunately i have some equipment problems as I have two Seismic balls drilled, the Requiem and Epicenter, and I also have the some Lane 1 equipment drilled. As we all know such equipment is not eligible to be thrown in PBA Competition. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on some pieces I could possibly drill that would be close to the Requiem and Epicenter.

AMf MegaRecovery might come close to the Requiem

Ebonite Lanebreaker Or Columbia Pure Swing might come close to the Epicenter.

What do you mean- Seismic equipment is not approved for PBA competition? Lane#1 either?

You have to pay big money as a company for you equipment to be used on tour. Many are figuring out it isn't worth the cost.

for full membership for a bowling ball company to have their equipment on the pba its $125,000.....even just to hav the equipment at grass roots level,(regionals etc) its something like $50,000....its no wonder that alot of companys like seismic and lane#1 cannot put the equipment on tour or have to pull out of the tour at this moment in time...its an elitist circle allowing it to happen...it means only the major companys can afford to advertise their equipment on tour...with no smaller companies capable of affording this cost its leaving the big guns with no competition whatsoever so they have no issues in paying this ridiculous cost.
