Would I be safe in assuming the Solid will be replaciing the Requiem? and the Polished I would guess replaces the Epicenter? Or is the Pearl stronger similiar to the Original Solaris?

Just a guess, were these two poured in missouri at the visionary plant? They look close in terms of the logos...and less like they were poured in san antonio...

Pretty much hit the nail on the head.  While they are not direct replacements, they pretty much fill the gap in the arsenal that will be left by the 2 discontinued balls you mentioned.

The Raging Bull will sit at the top of the arsenal in terms of overall oil handling capability, which is where the requiem sat previously (other than the Aftermath on certain conditions).  The difference is of course that the Requiem was a symmetrical cored ball, while the HORNcore (in the RB series) is an asymmentric core.

The Raging Bull Charged is the strongest pearl we have produced to date, and is definitly more like the original solaris in terms of shape on the lane, storing more energy till later than the epicenter.  The Epicenter needs a lot of head oil, and as a result is better used on heavier patterns, where as the RBC will allow you to just get deeper on even medium conditions.  It is most at home however on longer patterns and medium heavier patters.

Hope that helps!

Ryan

Nope! They are poured in SA like all our balls have and will ever be! :-)

As for the logos... All our logos are designed by one of our own staff members, David Williamson..

At a glance, not dissimilar I guess... I think the DC is Black and blue though... the RB is actually a dark Green and very light blue.. really nice looking ball "in the flesh".

I like the robotic dog thing! haha

Somewhere in the developement of the core it started to look like a horn or a thorn, and then that was tried to be kept in there.. hence the name - HORNcore :)

Mine got drilled up today. That core is something else. I have no clue what to expect from them. Ill upload a pic on my facebook before I bowl this sweeper tonight. Pretty standard layouts for me. Pin above bridge and mb kicked out a little right of thumb on the solid. I normally go above middle finger but I have been drilling them stronger lately. With the pearl I places pin under middle finger and kicked everything out about 45 degrees. This layout allows me to actually use a pearl when I need to get deep and the low flare layout keeps it from going sideways off the dry. I used these two because they will both undoubtably give me an idea how to drill my next two.

Lol, Ryan gets around the ball so much. Makes even the dullest of balls go sideways.

Ha, funny you should say that... that ball is drilled pin under ring and still gets brilliant angle on the back end!  I dilled that on a ball that would allow me to have the CG high and to the right so I can drill out some flare to take off the angle if I decide to... but on this type of pattern its perfect as it is!
