Title: Who pours Seismic?
Post by: Tripcee on October 10, 2012, 12:30:05 AM
I got onto the topic of new bowling companies with the owner of the bowling alley I go to tonight, and we got to debating on if some of them could feasibly start their own pouring plant. So, is Seismic completely independent, or no?

I am pretty sure they are poured by 900 Global.

Very nice. I'm going to try and convince him to start stocking Seismic stuff, but that'll probably be an uphill thing. We don't get enough traffic as a center, at least, not by serious bowlers. It's a college town, and it's more of the pastime area. Any selling points to maybe offer him?

Well, there are few that I can think of. To start off, you may want him to get in contact with the Managing Director of Seismic Bowling which is Ryan Press at ryan@seismicbowling.com

What I can tell you is that after being in the business for over 20 years, I truely haven't seen a more complete arsenal by any company other than Seismic. The balls roll real good and the carry percentage is phenomenal.

Also, Seismic doesn't come out with a dozen of balls a year. This is good for a proshop, you don't have to mark down your balls when a new one comes out every month or so!! Most companies have 1 or 2 really good balls in their year (thats out of 10 or so), so that means a customer has a higher percentage in buying a ball that's so so from lets say the big 3 companies. Everything that Seismic does is thought out to help the bowler score better on different oil patterns.

The covers which are poured a 900G are user friendly and they have an incredible longevity (I still have an Epicenter that has over 200 games and 3 years).

Hope this helps you out, PM me if you have other questions.
