Just moved looking for house
« on: December 15, 2010, 10:00:23 AM »
I just moved to orlando Fl somewhat down by disney and i am wondering if anyone has any suggestions of a nice house with some decent league bowlers on it.  I am hoping for 5 person teams with most averages around or above 200 but not a  scratch league (im used to being the 3rd best on team at 217 lol... i dont want to be anchor), synthetic lanes but wood approaches ok. So far i have vistited3 houses since i moved here and none of them work.  2 were really old wood lanes and the other which was very nice didnt have any leagues.

I am just looking for some insight from someone in the area or atleast a suggestion of where to look.

The best big league is Coasters at Boardwalk on Tuesdays. There is a really nice compettive league at AMF Semoran on Mondays. If you like late leagues there is always the Colonial Classic which starts at 9:30 on Thursdays. There are other leagues here and there, but those are the best. Coasters is the most profitable.

Time of day anything after 5 is ok but none of the alleys farther to the Southwest are any good?  I am closer to Kissimmee than i am to these.  Next week i will try to check both of these out maybe.

I live in Kissimmee also, I prefer the leagues, and management at Sky Lanes on Orange Blossom Trial. The guys at the Pro shop are very knowledgeable also. Friday night they have a nice 2 man league. However I am trying to get a 4 man team together for Monday nights...
