Anyone bowling Alabama State Tournament? (UPDATE)

I'm going up April 4 and 5. I'll report back on what the conditions are like if anyone cares. Also if you're going this weekend, I'd like to know what you see.

Just got back from bowling singles and doubles. Team is tomorrow. Full recap is in the Lane #1 forum (since that's what I was using this tournament), but here's the Cliff's notes: Heavy to start, plays inside to start, BIG-TIME transition around the third game and the oil just disappears by the time the sixth game is over.

This was for Brunswick Riverview Lanes, by the way. I'll report back from Lightning Strikes tomorrow night.

Team shot at Lightning Strikes today -- if you're going to be on second shift, THERE IS NO RE-OIL. There *IS* re-oil for D&S but not for team.

Bring urethane, something old or very mild, or plastic with a core if you're going to be bowling on second shift. That, or have a lot of speed, rotation and tilt, because you're going to need it.
