4th Annual NM Open in Rio Rancho, NM - August 16-19, 2007

Anyone plan on bowling this event on August 16-19, 2007?

Unfortunately for me, it is always scheduled for the 2nd week of August and I am unable to participate. My job has me in Minneapolis, MN every year over the last 6 years for the 2nd and 3rd weeks of August(this year Aug. 12th thru the 25th).

Oh man I loved this tourney when I was living in Southern NM.  They put out such a tough shot and it is run so well!  Steve Mackie, Dana-Miller Mackie, and Mike Miller really run a great tourney!

The tourney was a great success. THere was many big names in the tournament: Andrew Cain, Chris Johnson, Steve Kloempken, David Haynes, abd many others.  The winner was Shawn Lee from Denver, CO, very nice guy and great bowler. He bowled Chris Johnson in the final match. Lee had 6 in a row in the middle of the match, while Johnson was struggling finding a shot. Johnson's knee looked like it was still bothering him, but still threw the ball great.
