California State Tournament
« on: May 16, 2008, 03:44:35 AM »
I'm about to go to this tournament memorial weekend.  I was just curious if anyone has already bowled down over there... if so how was it?

I think the tournament starts tomorrow so you will be the first to experience it. I did bowl league at one of the houses. Can't help you with Lake Forest Lanes.

Keystone Lanes usually plays very slick. Lots of oil up front and enough dry in the back to get the ball to the pocket with authority if you have a few revs and a little accuracy.

It is the state tournament and they have a tendency to totally screw up whatever house they use so take the above lightly and read the lanes when you get there.

Look forward to hearing what you find. I bowl Memorial Day Weekend.

I am pretty sure that the lanes at Lake Forest are synthetic. The lanes at Keystone are synthetic with wood approaches.
