I am excited to announce a fun new event coming to
Bowlero North Sacramento (formerly AMF Mardi Gras) on
Sunday, January 26th, 2020:
The Superb Owl Championship - a pro football-themed bowling tournament. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00pm (check-in opens at 11:00am). The entry fee is $60.00 per person, and with 60 entries, the tournament will pay a guaranteed
$800.00 1st place to the Superb Owl Champion!
Tournament Details:- Singles format
- 5 games of qualifying over 5 pairs (skip 1 pair)
- Handicap: 90% of 220 with 25 pins Max handicap (192 average and below)
- Average for Handicap: Highest composite USBC average of 2017-18 or 2018-19 with 21+ games
- Oil Pattern: Kegel Broadway V2 4737

Tournament Format:- All players will be randomly divided into 2 conferences (American Bowling and National Bowling) with each conference having 4 divisions (North, South, East and West)
- After a 5 game regular season (qualifying round), the player with the highest handicap score in each division will advance to the playoffs! The 2 highest non-division winners in each conference will also advance as Wild Cards!
- Playoff participants will be seeded #1 to #6 in each conference based on qualifying round scores. #1 and #2 seeds in each conference will have first round byes.
- Playoff matches will be 1 game single elimination, with the same handicap as qualifying round. Higher seed will have home lane advantage.
- 18 players are guaranteed to cash regardless of tournament entries (all 12 playoff participants plus the 3 highest non-playoff scores in each conference)
The field will be limited to
