In fact the reason I even clicked on this topic is I know a person who would probably consider spending a bit less than $200 on a NIB second dimension.

Matt what's the pin on that burst?  Most likely I'll take that off your hands.

You came on here, posted a ball for sale, asking for nearly $100 more than can be considered, "Normal", gave no reason to explain the HUGE difference in retail pricing, provided exactly ZERO pictures to even hint of the ball's supposed significance, and drop a few names in response to a few people-this nobody included-and you were surprised?  If this IS a ball of historic significance, and sought after moreso than the William/Kate wedding night video footage, why offer us peasants a ball of this nature when there should be a grocery list of bowling's hierarchy chomping at the bit to buy it?  Am I disappointed you sold it? Not at all. Do I question the manner in which it was done?  Yes.  Do I wonder what could possibly make this ball $100 more than countless orbs manufactured in or out of the state of Utah than can be drilled or surfaced to achieve similar, if not exact, reaction?  Absolutely. ESPECIALLY by those people a heckuva lot further up the food chain than us worthless chuds.

Perfect comments '230'! The inflated egos of these young bowlers never cease to amaze me. Lord forbid we have not all been exempt tour players. We low-life, 'nobody's' have lots of nerve questioning any of these bowling Gods.

pearlmonroe, I am in NO WAY questioning the guy's talent or ability to throw the rock.  You don't bowl with SVSU unless you're blessed with some skill.  You don't have 30 300's before you can legally have a drink without a great deal of physical talent.  And they don't pluck youngsters from your local Saturday morning leagues for Junior Team USA, either.  I'm just questioning the manner in which the ball was listed.  If I was trying to sell a new Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 for $112,500, I wouldn't go to www.lovemyhemi.org and post a thread, "Corvette for sale: $112,500 OBO" without trying to explain my listing.  Am I ignorant for not knowing of this strange phenomenon of the proper colored 2D's?  Appears so.  If someone's willing to pay the kind of money he's trying to fetch, more power to 'em.  But I know there's a LOT of balls out there that a bowler will be able to obtain the ball reaction this ball would provide for a lot less money.

Look, Im not egotsitical in any way. If fact if you ask anyone who knows me I'm very humble about my talent/knowledge of the sport. I know a "normal" second dimension is only worth maybe $130 shipped. But if you question the post the ask me why it is priced so high and when I give you an answer dont write "LMAO" or "ROTFLMAO". Just say, "thanks, not interested". It is a known fact by a lot of tournament bowlers about this ball, that the ones with more red in the color scheme are slightly more skid flippy then the ones with more of the other colors. This gives the bowler a lot more options with the type of surface the can put on the ball. If they wanna keep it as a 3 ball or 4 ball or take it to 2000 or 1000 grit and make it another option of fresh. The ball reaction is just more versatile. I also dont have a way of sending pictures. If youre ever interested in anything I sell and want pictures I can text them to you.

My prices are otherwise fair on anyting I will sell on here. I recently even sold 3 V2 sandeds to a friend NIB for $100 a piece. Find someone else who would sell them for that cheap. Once again I apologize if I jumped down anyones throat but it pisses me off when people question something when they really dont know what theyre talking about.

Also, Louis...I have 2 Diff Bursts. Id rather trade then sell.....if possible...text me if interested.

Honestly, Matt, you do not need to apologize to me or anyone else.

You received (within earshot) of what you had hoped for the ball.

I openly questioned whether it was a typo and, as far as I'm concerned, couldn't have been much more incorrect.  My only gripe was how the post/thread was originated.  Since I had no interest in the ball, I should have just kept my mouth shut.  This, once again, is my fault.

I am sure that you are an amazing bowler, and am glad to hear that your ego is not inflated. However, you chose to respond by calling us 'typical house bowlers', nobody's, that have no clue. I am also pleased for you that you were able to turn a nice profit on the 2D. Look forward to seeing you bowl on ESPN one day soon.
