This ball was wat i've been looking for, for a long time.. it's the first ball out of my bag, and its on the top along w/ my spare ball(i keep my versitle ball and spare ball on top) but yea... i drilled this up and i kept the factory finish on it, but i want to try a 600 grit on the ball, or atleast wear off the polish on the ball, but i also have to weigh the ball out, because i think it has some side weight on it that needs to be removed.... but yea.. its a leverage drilling and i have a pink slug in the thumb, and a pink left insert..(i hate it when i can find a left pink 23 lift, but not a right pink 11 lift... can i get an amen?lol) and the right is a white... it rolls beautifully..... i love it and i cant wait to unleash it on the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 WUAHAHAHAH! lol but yea... if u want anything drilled up.. come to DAVE OLM'S PRO SHOP! the best in TAMPA BAY! but if ur in the Hollywood,Fla. area, go to the Will Welch Pro Shop... the best on that side...

Cranker, 17.5 mph, 450 rev, very high track.

First of all let me say this... IT'S GREAT FOR SPORT SHOTS!

This is without a doubt my favorite ball I've ever owned (out of about 50 balls since the last 1980's).  I can throw this ball on almost any condition especially on medium-heavy to medium-dry.  I can't believe more people don't throw this ball.   The strong controllable arc gives me so much control compared to other balls without any loss in hitting power/carry.

If you're used to throwing skid/snap equipment, it might take a couple games to get used to the reaction of this ball.  What you'll notice is that you have more control and a greater margin of error.

I could go on and on and repeat what everyone else says about this ball and I agree with everything they've said in these reviews.  Just read the reviews posted below this one and you'll see that EVERYONE loves this ball and there's a reason for that.

The best thing is that it's one of the cheaper balls on the market.

BTW - The in box condition is a perfect match, I wouldn't bother sanding or polishing it before trying it.  I usually like to polish all my equipment before throwing it, but am glad I didn't with this one.

drilled 65degree pin under fingers 5/8 thumb 1/16 positive

Ball has punch (not Hawaiian punch) it keeps the pins low and the COR isn't really as high as with the other Storm stuff, but it takes those long necked geeks down like nothing else.

My Razor Wire is good for real early oil, but i find it is an absolutely excellent medium lane ball.  It rolls down and snaps really good at the backend, turning sharply at the last second.  I find i can use the middle to edge of the lane with ease whilst using this ball.

Ball specs: 15lb 4oz.; 2-3 inches pin.
Drilling:  Stacked w/ pin above ring finger
Lane conditions:  Lanes with half synthetic coating and half wood to full    
                  synthetics.  Oil:  christmas tree- dry to 10, oiled up the
                  middle; also wet dry conditions.



     I'm a just under a cranker, I have a great deal of hand but I don't stop and plant and I'm smooth like a stroker.  This ball shines on broken down conditions or medium oil with clean backends.  The carry is phenomenal.  However for me if there is some carrydown or heavy oil this ball is lack luster.  It's clean through the heads as many balls are and for me covers 15 boards easy.  I usually play 15 to 5 standing on 29 and if the conditions are right I score big. When there's oil w/ clean backs I stand on 18 and play 12 to 5 with my hand at 9 o'clock with great results.  My hangup on this ball is carrydown.  It doesn't recover if you play wide leaving ugly washes and rarely leaves anything that I can pick up.  It could be the drilling seeing that I don't really score well with that drilling(accuracy!!!)

Overall it's a decent ball w/ great carry.  It's not a go to ball but on the right condition will yield great results.

I have kept this ball in my bag nearly all league season now.  I put the pin above my ring finger and cg directly below.  Put an extra hole about 5' over from my center of grip.  Kept the hazy surface on it and love it.  This ball rolls very well on the house shots.  It does not over react when it sees the drier parts of the lane.  It carrys well for me as well.  Moving left is not something I like to do with it.  It loses the good roll and hit.  This is a very smooth ball.

picked this up hoping it would help on the dry lanes i face on monday.
but was too strong a ball, even with the layout drilled.

specs:
16lbs. 2oz
2.48 TW
4 1/2" PIN

drilled:
Pin 1 3/4" above & to the right of ring finger
CG 1/4" below midline
MB 1/2" left of thumb in 11oclock position

normal angle of play 15 at arrows and 5-8 at breakpoint.

tried it oob + 4 coats of polish first, and she got through the heads and
midlane super easy with a "left turn clyde" to the pocket on the backend on a fresh shot.  after carrydown i was hit with major over/under, hit the oil in the backend and it skated to the pins.

i then went to 1000 grit.  smooth through the heads, slight midlane and strong turn to the pocket.  very readable and consistant reaction.  was able to use all three games with very little moves.  went 209, 221, 246 for 676.

overall i really like this ball for light oil.  too much ball for dry lanes. i did use with success on medium oil, but i was about 5 boards right than my Track Delta Rule first game and half, than was same line last game.  ball is alot stronger than advertised.
