I am always looking for a dry lane ball that works.Presently I am using a RED HOT when the lanes are toast.I got a HOT SHOT and used it on 10 to 10 oil and very dry outside of 10.Out of the box the ball hooked too early,so I polished it,but that did not allow me to play outside in the dry part of the lane.So I hit it to 1000-grit and polished and I was able to play outside 10 in the dry without super speed. This ball is my new dry lane ball, but it is no go if there is any oil.I am going to a SR regional next month, where I expect the lanes to be very dry,so that will be the true test for this ball.

i have had this ball awile now an its not a ball that i would throw now.  I like alot of hook an this ball has none.  If the lanes are really dry then you can throw it, but it still slides to much for me. I guess its an ok ball for a beginner to learn with,  but i didnt like it.     Good luck an high scores,    have fun doing the sport I love the best      Dean

i like this ball and totally dont agree with big show i ask the pro shop to drill it to hook on medium to heavy oil and it worked fine.Im thirteen and i have a 170 average thanks to this ball.on my aproach i stand in the middle and take my five steps and then throw it at the second arrow and it has a nice smooth hook all the way to the pocket then it hits with power that you can hear. the only down side is if you dont tell the pro shop that you want it drilled for a certain oil cause if you dont you might as well sell it. i give this ball a 9.5 out of ten

OK my fellow reviewers I know that this ball is discontinued but I got a hold of one about 6 months ago. Got the ball at 320- grit with te cg and pin in the palm. I am going to make this short and sweet. If you have good backends then this ball is your opponents worse nightmare. If little to no backends do not think about picking up this ball. The ball clears the heads really well but definitely needs sufficient backends for the desired hit. I would not say thatthe ball is bad but it is far from the best that STORM has produced. The ball is extremely conditional not really forgiving at all. I give it a 6 out of 10.
