I tried this ball at two different houses: Star Lanes in Sandusky, Ohio and Harbor Freeway Lanes in Port Clinton, Ohio. Again, I credit Jeff Lizzi for punching this ball for me.

I set the pin over middle finger 5 3/4" from my axis point, center of gravity about 3/4" right of grip center on the midline, and the mass bias between thumb and strong. No X-hole was needed on this layout, and I decided not to use finger grips in an effort to get a clean release.

At Star Lanes, I rolled on a lane that had a lot of previous ball traffic. This ball got through the heads with ease, but it picked up strong in the midlane, and snapped hard with continuous movement on the backend. I needed to make a few adjustments to the left, and I picked up my speed. Eventually, I found a comfortable line, and I was able to hit the rack without leaving any corners.

Later the same day, I travelled to my home bowling alley in Port Clinton to test this ball. The alleys had a little more oil in the heads, but the backs were slightly on the crisp side. I had to stand left on board 36 and aim for the middle arrow to reach the breakpoint (which was around the eighth board). Anything inside the breakpoint caused the ball to check up early and hit the rack square on the nose.

The Screamin' Banshee seems a little stronger than what it appears to be. The new Reactor Solid Reactive bites the lane well in the dry, and I'm glad that I selected a relatively weak drilling on this ball. Of course, I can give this Banshee a little surface change with a Scotch Brite pad to smooth out the overall trajectory. For now, I'm sticking with the box surface. I would like to see it perform under normal league conditions before I make any such changes.

Nevertheless, this new ball by Storm should be another top performer in 2005 and beyond...

All I can say is that Storm has done it again with a great medium oil ball. I am a tweener lefty and I like to play a little outside the track area. THe ball is very smooth through the front and has a very nice backend. Although it's a medium flare potential ball, it does lean closer to a higher flare potential. Nice smooth snap at the end. At first I had some trouble finding my mark because I was throwing an old eurothane for so long, but once I found my mark and read the lane condition's the pins were crying. This is a good ball for the intermediate/advanced bowler who's looking for a good performance ball without breaking the bank. Haven't used it in league conditions yet, but for house shot it performs like a charm. Got about 30 games under it and it's hooking just as hard as it has when I first got it. I just picked up some reacta shine from Storm to keep it at 1500 grit b/c I don't need it to snap any harder than it already does. Cleaning it after every use with the standard "simple green 3/4, alchohol 1/4" mix and it is performing great. Now it's time to find me a storm for heavier oil. Had to get a spare ball b/c this ball just hooks too much to pick up the 7 (remember I'm a lefty), so I got a big hit drilled for a spare ball and I love the combination.  Relatively knew ball to the scene so I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in for a review. If anyone has questions about it feel free to ask.  L.I.

ok ive had this ball for about a month now askr to have it drilled for drying lanes.  at first the ball handled good alittle strong..  i am relatively new to bowling and i am tweaking my game alittle and wow even on med oil at leagues this ball flips too much my x factor is 100 times more forgiving.  im getting ready to have it redrilled so hopefully i will have better results with this ball.  one plus is when it dose find the pocket wow great pin action.

Right hander stroker
Ball weight- #15.3
pin-2-3
MPH= 17.5 -23
Good amount of revs about 390+

Bought this ball cause it reminded me of the original eraser which was such a good ball I would love another one if I can find one. Any way I set this ball up just like my old eraser with out the weight hole. Set up pin above the ring but kicked over to the right just a bit, Cg kicked slightly rite. This ball is wow thats all I can say. The first ball I threw I was like what the hell. This thing just saved up energy and just took off. Its been a while since I have had a ball that dug into the lane that much. The backend was sick on this ball. I love the fact that the cover can be sanded or shined. I sanded it for a bit more oil and it just rolled and still hit hard. I give it a 8.5 out of 10 just a little over under a bit but still a great ball way to go storm.

I'm not too much on technical terms but as far as this ball goes, my favorite thing about it is its recovery. This ball gives you so much room for error. If you miss inside it more then likely will somehow manage to hold pocket, and even if you miss to the far outside, watch out because its coming all the way back. Skids a little too much on very heavy oil, but after a game or so you will be killing the pocket. GReat hitting power, and is very versatile for different types of bowlers. Overall this is a pretty good ball. Its going to do what you need it too do as long as the lane isnt flooded and you keep your approach on key. I give this ball a 7.5 out of 10

This ball is about average...the only great thing about it is it's consistency. Even there it's lacking sometimes.

I wouldn't run out and get one, but if you need a good med-lite oil ball, and someone offers to give you one for $50 or less, I'd do it.
