Title: Trend
Post by: BallReviews-scodaddy21 on August 06, 2020, 09:09:33 AM
The Storm Trend is a high-performance bowling ball in Storm's Signature line of bowling balls that they have created in collaboration with professional bowler Jason Belmonte. This ball combines the proven and popular R2S coverstock with the Piston core to offer a ball that provides better carry by creating more angle into the pocket. This ball gives a quick response along with a more defined breakpoint regardless of what your rev rate is.

I was very impressed by the new Storm Trend. In my YouTube review I compared it to the Marvel Pearl. The Trend was cleaner through the fronts and more angular through the pocket. The coverstock and core combination on this ball is perfect. It is clear that the R2S coverstock was the best option for this ball. If you want to carry better and need more angle into the pocket the Trend is the ball for you. The Trend will give you a quicker response, more defined breakpoint, and just what you need for better carry. I recently used the Trend in two tournaments, and it was my first ball out of my bag when my strong symmetric balls were burning up too soon. It has gained a permanent spot in my bag. The Trend has an RG of 2.52 and a differential of 0.049.  I drilled mine 45 x 4 3/4 x 25 and love it.

Jason definitely hit the mark on this recent release. This ball is going to be special for the fact that it can be thrown by every type of bowler. I have found some of the other collaborations with Belmo have been a little under whelming because they didn't match with it. I was also one of those people I liked the Timeless and the Pro Motion but did not find a time where I matched up with the Drive very well.  When you combined the R2S cover stock and the symmetric core this allows this ball to have a nice even rolling predictable shape that I love to see. It does not fly off the back end where I can’t control it but has just the right amount of pop ! The Trend is 100% going to be my favorite out of all of Belmo’s releases by far. When first throwing the Trend it brought back some memories of the marvel pearl which I was very very excited for, the trend will be a great modern day replacement for it. I compared the Trend with the Astro Physix and there was only about two boards difference but the trend had more shape off the pattern driving through the pins better,
I think after my review on the Storm Trend I know that's its going to be special and have a good shelf life! You will not go wrong adding this gem to your bag.

The newest collaboration with Jason Belmonte and Storm Products. Ladies and Gentlemen, we are talking about the all new Storm Trend. The new Trend has the same Piston Core as seen in the Pro Motion wrapped in the famous RTS Pearl reactive coverstock. When I tell you this ball is a home run, you’re going to have to take my word for it and get your hands on this one. What you’re going to see out of this ball is a clean motion through the front and middle part of the lane and a controlled but aggressive motion downlane.
For me, the trend is the perfect fit under my Phaze 3. When the Phaze 3 is a little too early and starts to go forward at the end of the pattern, the new trend blends the pattern nicely for me. I was also a huge fan of the pro motion so if you need to compare this to a pro motion, once you see the pro motion start to not get the corners out from deep, this is the ball to go to. The Trend is the new trend. Get yours now!

The Storm Trend is a ball that will get down the lane and when it hits the dry look out. It produced a lot of angle on the backend.  This ball needs friction for it to change direction downlane.  It’s very clean thru the heads with sharp but controllable angle on the backend.  Perfect compliments to the Pro-Motion if you need to get down the lane longer.  I felt like the best look I had was anywhere on the lane that I could bump to the dry. If you keep it in the oil it will go pretty long. I could also play straighter but would jump if I hit the dry too early. Hitting Power is great just like any Storm Ball

What can I say about the Trend other than, wow!! I was excited to get this ball as I really like my Pro-Motion and AstroPhysiX.  With the piston core and R2S pearl cover combined I knew that this was going to be a great ball for me. This ball is really smooth down the lane and pops on the backend. I had no issues with carry with my low rev rate and high ball speed. With the volume of our house shot, the Trend will definitely be a ball I can start the night with during league. As the night goes on and the lanes start to dry out, with this ball I should be able to move my feet left and not have issue with carry.

I am looking forward to seeing what this ball gives me when leagues and tournament season start back up in the fall. It will definitely be a different look going from bowling by myself to others breaking down the pair with me. I look forward to seeing the different angles I am able to play the lanes when they start to break down. This ball is a great addition to my arsenal.

Post by: Luke Rosdahl on August 18, 2020, 08:35:58 PM
The Trend is Belmo ball number 4, and while I hesitate to say it’s the best one, I quite liked the Pro Motion, it’s definitely not similar to the previous 3.  While it features the same Piston core from the Pro Motion, that’s the only thing they have in common, the covers are on the opposite end of the spectrum.  R2S Pearl on the Trend is quite clean and very responsive to friction.  The Piston core has an identifiable rolly continuation, so the general roll is familiar, but where the Pro Motion is early and very smooth, the Trend glides through the fronts and really booms down lane.  The Trend is longer and stronger than the Idol Pearl, but not quite as long and quick as the Astro PhysiX, but it’s in that same vein of reaction.  While the previous Belmo balls had specific reactions in mind, the Trend is designed to be useful for the vast majority of bowlers on the conditions they see the vast majority of the time.

Signature Lines ball have been a huge hit since the Timeless was introduced but now they have wrapped the in ultra popular R2S Pearl cover in the Piston Core and come up with the Trend.  I drilled mine 5.5 x 5 x 3 and after throwing for awhile, I noticed that the Trend was a lot more angular than the Pro-Motion but it didn’t change direction as far down lane as the Hy Road Pearl. House bowlers and tournament bowlers who love the Pro-Motion because of the smoothness of it will absolutely love the Trends as it just gives it a little more angle on the backend and who doesn’t love more angle!

The Signature line of balls developed by Storm in collaboration with Jason Belmonte have provided some shapes that I would say have been unique to the brand. The piston core featured in each of the previous 3 releases has a distinct smooth, arcing motion. For the newest release in the line, the Trend, Storm decided to wrap the Piston core in the storied R2S Pearl featured on many of the greatest releases ever on the market. The Trend packs plenty of power. It is every bit as predictable as you would think. I have found each Signature release to be an improvement on the last one. They've continued that TREND and this ball is my favorite so far.

I have taken some time with the Trend so that could get look at it on a variety of conditions. I've thrown it in league, and was fortunate to get a few different looks as our house pattern has transitioned somewhat in the last few weeks. The first night I took the trend out the lanes were hooking alot. I had been opting for weaker pieces in previous weeks but I decided to move left and try throwing the Trend right away. I started around 4th arrow on the fresh (like I said they hooked). I normally try to avoid the center of the lane because I tend to run out of room pretty quickly. I managed to throw all 3 games with the Trend and surprisingly it didn't seem to lose steam as I moved left. The next week we got a whole new shot, which felt about 5 feet longer with much more added to the middle. I opted to start with a bit more surface to try to develop some friction on the right side. The high friction surface causes some odd ball reactions when they add volume. I felt like I needed the ball to see the friction a little earlier but when it did the ball was a little flat going through the pins. I decided to see what the Trend would do since I was having trouble getting the ball to go through the pins right. The Piston core got the ball moving right where i needed it to and the R2S kept it coming. I got right into the track and the pattern all of a sudden felt easy. They settled into a happy medium the next week and I again threw all 3 games with the Trend.

I have yet to find the condition where the Trend doesn't make itself useful. Even on the highest volume patterns it is amazing in transition. The lower volume patterns you can get way in and it comes back from anywhere. This ball gets a recommendation that I give to precious few balls. It seems to work well for any style or condition. Not surprising since the Marvel Pearl was the first ball I said that about.

The Trend is the latest, and I’ll say, greatest Belmo collaboration ball by Storm.  Now, I have not matched up well with the Belmo collection so I was hesitant to try this ball until I saw it had R2S pearl on it, the same pearl found on the AstroPhysix, IQ Emerald, and Hyroad pearl….all “must-have” balls in my book.  With the 2.52 RG, I decided to put a 4” pin on the ball to really see what this ball has to give.  My first thoughts after throwing it for a couple of games was that it really reminded me of the Idol pearl but with more pop on the backend which I always appreciate given my tweener release.  A bit too clean, I hit it lightly with a 3000 pad and that allowed it to read the mids better where I could really stand left, throw right and watch it fly back to the pocket with that synonymous Storm skid-flip motion we all love to see!  Fun, just plain fun to throw that’s ideal for house shot and for tourney shots towards the end of the block when you need steeper angles and need the ball to retain enough energy to hook back and carry.  House shot killer alert!

Likes: R2S Pearl was genius

Dislikes: I think we have better options for the fresh.

I was a fan of the ProMotion, I just wasn't super fond of the Spec cover.  I was jealous to see that they released an R2X solid version overseas.  I was hoping that we would get another release with a more familiar cover...well my dreams were answered!  The R2S pearl is legendary and its the perfect fit for this core!
The ball glides through the fronts reads the mids at the right time while having a strong but controllable motion down lane.  I can see me using this ball after I have to get in deeper on the lane and on into finishing the night with it.  This ball is going to get A LOT of use.
My Layout for this ball is 50x5x30

Other balls in heavy rotation:

AstroPhysix- 50x4-7/8x30

Def was a fan of the Pro Motion and was curious to see where Storm would go next with that core. Bam they knocked it out of the park with the pearl Rs2 Coverstock. This ball really gets down lane and bangs hard on the back end. If you are looking for a ball with a big back end here it is. This ball would be great on the fresh with a crisp backend because it really gets through the pins well. Wow loving this ball for league.

Review: If you love the HYRoad or the Astro Physics you will probably love this ball too! The Trend’s weaker cover allows it to clear the front half of the lane easily. Then, it has a late mid lane read with a very defined move on the backend that I wouldn’t call snap, but more like an aggressive hard arc. When I threw it on a fresh house shot with the factory 1500-grit Polished finish, I had to keep it closer to the oil line/middle part of the lane to generate enough skid and hold. The Piston core is a little more in the tumbley category which made it go a little more forward through the pins. The Pro Motion, which has the same core, read the lane a little sooner and was smoother overall. I can see this ball working really well on beat up lanes or if the backends tighten up from the urethane guys because this ball will still turn the corner. This ball goes a little longer than my Idol pearl but has more pop and entry angle on the backend. I feel like it fits perfectly between the Astro Physics and the HyRoad.

Layout 60x4x30 rev rate 275 ball speed 14 mph  PAP 4 ½ right and 1 up I was a big of my Pro Motion with the piston core it gives me great down lane motion and the spec cover is amazing. The new Trend Is the perfect 1-2 punch weather it be for tournament or league play these 2 pieces are in every discussion. The R2S cover doesn't fear anything but the heaviest of oil patterns and together they make a very reliable and continuous reaction for a wide variety of players. I see about the same amount of overall hook between the Pro Motion and Trend but with the Pro Motion having that strong spec cover I can handle any oil and the Trend cleaning up with the proven R2S cover stock I can conquer a wide variety of oil conditions.

Alright so after discussing the layout for a few days I decided to go with a stronger pin to pap than I normally use and went pin down to accentuate the personality of the new Trend. The Piston core creates a very quick response to friction downlane and the r2s coverstock provides amazing length through while still controlling most oil conditions, Super super impressed, I get a Hyroad Esq motion with a touch early midlane motion and stronger reaction off the spot!

Hey everyone, this is Storm staff member Josh Shoemaker here with another ball review for the Storm Trend. As always, I would like to thank Storm for providing the equipment I use every time I step out onto the lanes and logo infusion for making sure I always look good no matter what! Today I will be bowling on a standard 44’ house shot. The Trend is the latest Storm and Jason Belmonte collaboration. It features the same piston weight block found in the Promotion but is now wrapped in R2S pearl. The Trend comes out of the box with Storms signature 1500 grit polished finish. The Promotion was known for its super slow response time with having a SPEC cover. The Trend is at the complete other end of the spectrum and provides a much cleaner and faster response to friction. Although the core/cover is very similar to a Hyroad pearl, I find the Trend to be a littler earlier and straighter off the end of the pattern. When compared to the OG Hyroad, the Trend is slightly straighter off the end of the pattern as well as being a touch weaker overall. The Trend is now available for purchase from any Storm VIP pro shop!

Hey everyone, Storm staff member Brian Hirsch here with another ball review, and this time it’s for the Storm Trend. The Trend is the newest ball in the Signature “Jason Belmonte” line. This ball in 15 pounds has an RG of 2.52 with a Diff of 0.049. Wrapped in the proven R2S Pearl coverstock. What I really enjoyed with this ball was how online this ball was and a tad more angle and was quick to respond to friction than I had thought it would. The layout that I used was 4x4x2. The Piston core has a rolly continuation roll and goes through the pins quite well. In the testing of this ball, I had to grab my trusty OG Hy-Road as I saw a looked and felt like an Hy-Road reaction just a tad stronger. Not gonna place this ball in the “House Shot Killa” category as for me I needed just a bit more friction for this ball. For the tournament players, this is a ball you will want to have in that bag for the games 3-4-5. Until the next review do not forget to Bowl Up A Storm!

The Trend is the most recent ball to house the Belmo Piston Core. It’s also the next in a long line of successful pieces to wear the popular R2S coverstock.

I’ve had a few Pro-Motions, so I had some high expectations for this ball. What made the Pro-Motion so attractive was is absolute glide from front to back as if it were floating. I knew the R2S cover would probably bite a little harder in the dry, so I wasn’t surprised to see a very angular hook phase. Even with the pin drilled out of my ring finger, the ball still sparks off the friction.

For me, that motion is perfect on extremely wet/dry house shots or later in a set when a heavier pattern has forced me inside my comfort zone. I need that grab after crossing almost the entire pattern.

On our med-low volume house pattern, this ball has been my go-to out of the bag. Depending on how the shot breaks down, I either progress to my Pro-Motion or my !Q Tour Emerald. In my scratch league we bowl on USBC White 2. This has been the ball I go to later in the set, usually when a zone move with my Parallax isn’t working out.

The latest Signature ball of Jason Belmonte is here and it is a really good one.  Drilling some of the past Belmo equipment I have had a hard time getting them to work well for me, as my rev rate is 330.  But this ball is a gem. Wrapped with the infamous R2S Pearl Reactive coverstock which is a proven success.  The Piston Block core adds tremendous punch to this ball.  I drilled mine 60 x 3 1/2” x 25 and it rolls amazing.  If you like the Hyroad Pearl, IQ Emerald this ball compliments them perfectly being stronger.  This ball turns the corner and keeps on going, having the best cover stock in the business this ball will stay around for a long time. Play up the boards or get inside the coverstock creates huge consistency and the core has all the power you need.  Probably 3-4 boards less hook then the Axiom Pearl, and 5-6 boards stronger then the IQ Emerald.  This ball is a must have in your bag and a great bench mark ball!  You wont be disappointed in this Signature gem!

Everyone is going to be setting a Trend.

WEIGHT BLOCK: Piston Core
WEIGHT: 15lbs
RG: 2.52
DIFF: 0.049
COVER: R2S
OUT OF BOX: 1500 Grit Polished

Pattern used for review is a modified HP.

PLAY
The Trend was able to play the track area with ease.

I really enjoyed the ProMotion but was looking for something a little stronger off the spot. Just like that the Trend was released.  Straight out of the box and to the lanes, 300.  This ball is very predictable and there is no hesitation that it will make the turn.

The Trend out of box was perfect for this pattern.  Of course with the pearl cover there was no doubt it would clean through the fronts.  The worry would be if it was too clean and I would fight with my speed to have a consistent reaction.  There was no worry this ball is very predictable and handles variance in speed with ease.  Not one time did it react uncontrollably nor did it skid by.  The Trend will be a ball that I will carry in my bag everywhere I go.

LOW DOWN: Strikes will be the only Trend you will be setting.  If playing up the boards or getting inside is your cup of tea the core/coverstock combination provides consistency and all the power you will need.  #SquadRG

Storm Trend Ball Review by PJ Haggerty

The latest collaboration between Jason Belmote and Storm is the Trend.  After a few successful balls with the Timeless, Drive, and Pro-Motion, the Trend is something special.  The core is the same as what’s found in the Pro-Motion (Piston Core) but the cover is designed to create length with an very quick response time.  The goal with creating this ball is so multiple styles, rev-rates, and angles can be used.  Storm and Belmo nailed it.

I’ve drilled one Trend so far and really like it.  I mapped it out as 5.5 x 5 and scratched the surface with a 4000 pad.  It’s been a perfect compliment when my Axiom and Omega Crux start to get lazy.  The cover is extremely clean and the response time is very quick.  I’ve had the most success after a pattern blends out and I need to create some angle through the front part of the lane.  I can definitely see multiple styles and rev-rates use the Trend on different types of conditions!

If you need a ball that is very clean with a quick response time after your high performance balls start to run out of gas, the Trend should be the next ball you drill!

Best “Belmo ball” yet! The Trend is the latest in Storm’s Signature line. I don’t know if it’s the R2S Pearl cover or what, but the Trend has all the makings of an all-time great ball. If the IQ Tour and the Hyroad Pearl had a bowling ball baby it would be the Trend… sorry… that got weird.
For me the Trend rolls close to a Hyroad Pearl but the core gets into a roll sooner which makes for a more controllable motion down lane. If you need a ball that is nice and clean, and is a little more controllable on the back, then you need a Trend.

Introducing the newest collaboration with Storm Bowling and, Jason Belmonte! The Trend features the R2S Pearl Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the piston Core which is also seen in the Pro Motion! This ball and, the Pro Motion compliment each other very well! The Trend compared to the Pro Motion is much cleaner with more backend and, still has that continuous motion just like the Pro Motion. The Trend is just the right formula for anybody to throw and, have success with

Knowing the Trend was going to have the piston core previously seen in the ProMotion had me extremely excited. Wrapping it with R2S only made sense, adding this ball to the bag is instantly a no brainer. When I need the ball to get a little further down lane with more backend snap this is my “go to” after the ProMotion. I am very impressed with how well these balls complement each other.

I won’t sugar coat it, the “BELMO Balls” have been hit or miss with most people, you either love them or quite frankly hate them. This Trend is changing that stigma. The most user friendly BELMO ball yet. This ball is a “house shot killer” and a great option games 4-6 in a tournament setting.

Review:
The new Trend Pearl is the latest addition to the Jason Belmonte Signature Line. It has a great color mix and is eye catching for regular bowlers and Belmo fans alike. This has been our shops best received of the Belmo Signature line. I feel this ball fits a wider variety of bowlers and gives a more familiar look on the lanes than previous in the Belmonte Line of balls. The Trend has the same core as the Pro Motion but that is where the similarities end. The Trend is much cleaner through the front and more angular on the back than the Pro Motion. The Trend is very good on a typical house shot. I get a nice back end move on mind but some bowlers are getting more of a flip reaction on theirs. The Trend still maintains predictability most likely due to the core.  I have a lower rev rate and prefer using this ball when keeping angles in front of me but I have drilled the Trend for higher rev bowlers who have no trouble getting deep with it. I feel this is a nice addition to the Signature line and will help people look forward to the next Belmo entry.

Summary:
The Trend works great on house conditions.
The color mix is excellent.
The Trend is a good addition to the Signature Line.

The Trend is the newest addition to Storm’s Signature Line.  The Trend has the Piston Core surrounded by the R2S Pearl Reactive Coverstock.  This simply means generous length with a drastic motion on the back end.  I set my Trend up with a pin over the fingers layout with a moderate cg kick out to basically do what the ball was intended to do.  I needed something to clear the heads with a response through carry down.  The Trend does that and more…  I was surprised by how much the Trend recovers even with my huge rev rate (approx. 300 RPM).  My other numbers are axis point 5 5/8 over and ¾ up with medium to slow ball speed (12 to 15 mph depending on what center I am at).  The only issue that I experienced with the Trend was on the fresh it was too much over under and that was expected.  I did polish the cover with reacta shine prior to bowling.  However, with that being said, the Trend did exactly what I wanted it to do.  A different layout or different surface change would allow the Trend to be more versatile.

The Trend is the newest signature series ball from Jason Belmonte and from what I have seen is the best out of all the releases. I had the Timeless but just didn’t match up with it. The nest release I drilled was the Pro Motion and I liked the motion from the Piston Core but the Spec cover made it roll to early on the conditions I was bowling on.

After seeing players roll the Trend and the motion I was seeing out of core and pearl cover I had to try it. With my speed and rev rate along with the pearl covers I normally need friction down lane to help with ball motion. Not with this ball it begins to read the midlane and is sharper off the spot at the end of the house shot.

To help with ball shine and the polish on the pearl cover I will be hitting it with a 2000 abralon just to keep it reading patterns correctly.

Storm TREND - 35 x 3 5/8th x 50 at 1500 grit polished
Coverstock: R2S Pearl Reactive
Core: Piston Core
With the proven R2S cover and the newer piston core from the Pro-Motion this ball for me fit between the Parallax and my Storm !Q Emerald. Stronger in the front and mid lane and "striking" well in recovery when bowling on SPL with a 44ft house pattern, noticed that where it seemed the Emerald was getting lazy, it is the next step up in my Storm bag. I really like that they made this ball when they did, with my recovery still going on, I need taller cores to have the ball get down the lane. This one was a no brainer for me to use a strong pin layout - did not have to play with the cover like I did with the Parallax. Really super ball for bowlers that are looking for that special middle piece for their 3 ball arsenal or in their tournament bag.

Trend is the latest collaboration between Storm and Jason Belmonte. For the Trend, they combine the Piston Core used in the Pro-Motion, and the tried and true R2S Pearl coverstock. I was a big fan of the Pro-Motion, but the Trend is even better. This ball is very clean through the front part of the lane and has a very quick response to friction giving it a strong motion on the backend. This ball really drives through the pins creating great pin carry. This ball is great on medium conditions, and when the bigger solid symmetricals like the Axiom or Phaze II are starting to leave the weak corner pins. Making the move to a Trend will create the entry angle you need to carry those corners. As a tweener I tend to struggle when I really need to have open angles through the front, but the Trend provides the backend strength I need to strike. For me this ball is a must have!!!

The new Jason Belmonte Signature line ball is the Storm Trend.  Following the Jason releases Drive , Timeless and Promotion I think they have gotten better with each release.  The new Storm Trend with the arguably Storm's  best cover in R2S pearl is very clean and responsive to friction down lane. But to me  with the Piston Core the motion is controllable but very strong back end motion. I drilled mine standard pin up above bridge with a small shift of cg.  5 x 4.5 x 2. I have the Trend above the IQ Emerald and just below the Phaze 3.  When the Phaze 3 gets a little too forward off the spot and you need a little more angle, the Trend would be a good fit.
We have better options for the fresh as the Trend can be a little too much downlane on the fresh.  But when the patterns starts to blend a little and heads burn up a little that is when the Trend really likes to shine.  Probably the best Belmo ball yet!

The latest release in the Belmo line the Storm Trend is continues to how strong this line is. After having the Timeless, Drive and Pro Motion this probably the best yet using the R2S cover really hit the mark! On the fresh this ball pushes a little too long for me. It's a perfect fit in my bag when my pro motion is to strong. Gives me a great shape and more control when I really need it seeing the friction.

Super clean and quickest response of anything I have in my bag. Definitely a different look in the Belmo line. Definitely a ball everyone should have in the bag. As time goes on this ball will become more and more popular.

Storm Trend

1500-grit Polished R2Sâ„¢ Pearl Reactive

Weight Block Pistonâ„¢ Core

The Piston Core used in the Pro-Motion and a trusty Pearl cover come together to create the Trend.

R2S Pearl helps the ball glide downlane and the Piston Core gives it a quick but controllable down lane reaction.

This cover will make the Trend much more versatile than the Pro-Motion, which will make it more useful for your average league shot.

On days where I start with my Nuclear Cell or Omega Crux, the Trend will be a nice ball to drop down to.

Jason Belmonte has another ball in his signature line... and it's not to be ignored! The Piston Core from the ProMotion returns, but this time wrapped in Storm's trademark R2S Pearl coverstock. The combination provides plenty of length and punch downlane, while providing more control than the asymmetric AstroPhysiX but also not going quite as long as an !Q Tour Emerald or HyRoad Pearl. It provides a ton of utility on house shots as well as great control over your downlane motion through transition for tournament play.

I drilled my TREND with a layout of 65 x 4 x 35. I hit the box surface with a 2000 abr pad and let it lane shine back up.

I used the TREND on a PBA50 regional that was on 37ft Marshall Holman and also on the 42ft Mark Roth Patterns. On the Holman pattern, the TREND is too much bowling ball as it breaks very sharply off the friction. Better options were balls like the WILD STREAK, PHAZE II, and IQ TOUR NANO PEARL which were smoother transitions along with the HUSTLE PBR as these blended the pattern out and let me control the down lane motion better. The TREND wanted to break loose too quickly so I gave it a try on a longer pattern that gets more wet/dry during PBA50 tournament play in the 42 foot Roth pattern, Now the TREND was more at home as it gave me a longer option when my ASTRO PHYSIX was starting to go forward too much at the end of the pattern. Compared to my AXIOM PEARL, the TREND was a few feet later and sharper off the back when the lanes had went thru their final transition.

The Trend has the strongest downlane reaction out of any of the Belmo branded balls! It is super clean in the front part of the lane, but even though it does have a lot of backend hook, it still feels predictable due to the awesome Piston core.  It has just enough midlane traction to keep me from labeling it “skid-flip”, though it is close. It definitely has that big backend reaction that provides very good pin action on a standard house shot. I would recommend touching the coverstock with a 2000 or 3000 abralon pad if being used on a fresh heavier shot, but it is at home with the shiny box finish on medium or medium-dry shots.

Storm Trend Belmos newest release from the pro motion.I am I huge fan of the promotion I belive the most control and smoothest bowling ball I ever thrown.i have mine with me every where I go its my go to ball for sure, now with the trend, its a ball I can change to later in the blocks or when I need something little more down lane then my promotion, great 2 ball combo.I can really tell y Jason likes this ball tons of backend and just keeps going threw the pins doesn't want to stop that's for you.Thats what I see with mine more left I go the more the ball wants to get of the spot. For sure a ball you can use later in the blocks, and a ball bowlers can use when they need something to recover.down lane with ease.Great job on this one Jason and storm.
