!Q Tour Nano
« on: November 19, 2014, 12:42:05 PM »
So I am actually really pumped but really leery on getting the new !Q Tour Nano when it comes out. I combines the coverstock of one of my favorite Balls (Virtual Gravity Nano) and the core of my favorite line of equipment of course the !Q series. The reason I am leer is because  the NRG cover was also on the sync and it was an absolute dud for me. What do you guys think of the Nano coverstock and how good of a ball do you think it will be?

Cover/core matchups are a big deal. I had both the Vivid and the Sync. Obviously, both used the NRG cover. For me, the Vivid was a good ball, but it was rolly, rolly, rolly. It was smooth and consistent, but it never did anything to wow anybody. My Sync, on the other hand, is fantastic. It gives a good read of the midlane, and it's smooth and strong on the backend. Obviously, in my case, the cover/core matchup on the Sync worked better in my hands than the matchup on the Vivid.

If you liked NRG on the Nano and love the core of the IQ Tour series, there's at least some logic behind thinking that you'll like the two when paired together. Now, there are certainly no guarantees, but if you need a ball, it may be worth taking the plunge.

I definitely think it will be a good ball for a lot of people and I am hoping it matches up with me because I feel like its the best of both worlds where I can ball down from my Nano to the IQ Nano. Also the Marvel-s used the NRG and it was amazing for me.

I think it will be a good ball for a lot of people. It got used a lot during the WSOB and it looked good on the lanes during the tv show matches

Lol The NRG is my far my favorite cover on oil.   Buy it, save it for oil...its always my best option for 60 games...

I think this is going to be a good ball. Proven core, popular coverstock, iconic ball name. All these things are a recipe for success. Plus after seeing the ball roll it's hard to deny it's going to be a good edition to many people's bag.
