*~Storm DIMENSION Video from Videoballreviews.com!~*

Hi All,

I'm proud to present to you The Dimension Video from Storm.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHMPweaRZNA

My Take on the ball:

This ball is Sick...have you ever said to yourself, boy i wish my cell was a little cleaner through the heads and stronger in the backend?  Well if you have this is the ball you are looking for.  I didnt want to believe that this ball was 4 boards stronger in the backend than the cell, but its true...same continuation, same insane amount of total hook as a cell just MORE.

We are seeing a new revolution in ball reaction from the Storm and Roto Grip camp.  They are taking continuation and total hook to a new level folks!

I will be drilling up a few more of these to try surface adjustments and different layouts to see how versatile it is.  As you can see in the videos it is quite a bit stronger than the gravity shift...

Just be sure to find oil...this thing needs some volume up front, it didnt mind carrydown that much, but as long as you have a good amount of head oil you will be fine...

As always comments and questions are welcome

Britton, i've watched many of your videos without comment, but, this video of the Dimension I just watched you throw, NEEDS a comment... That ball looks like a HUGE winner from Storm!! WOW. Great video! Thanks for the info!

Damn 302efi, you really love to troll just for the hell of it, don't you?

1) He never said better.  He said stronger on the backend.  I personally don't see that as "better" except on certain conditions (most of which I rarely face)  I actually find the Cell's ball motion close to ideal for my game on a wide variety of patterns, for what it's worth.

2) Comparing ball companies to make yourself sound like a big man on another manufacturers forum...  what is this, Lane 1/Brunswick?

Well theres the ignore function for ya...Last button on the right under my user name.

...and Monster Pike, the miscellaneous-non bowling forum is garbage...Nothing but retards that think they have a clue about religion and politics

Dan Belcher, everyone widely accepts more hook as "better" in bowling terms, come on man...Have you been asleep and not been following the direction of the ball market ?

In todays game more hook is seen as "better"...You know the way all compaines market it

Another thing, if you don't wanna compare this ball to the Cell, then for Gods sake don't mention it in the original topic of this thread...I see no other balls mentioned ?..Just the Cell, no ?

As I asked before in a few of the other video "reviews", wheres the bad ?

I wish i could do a video for you guys showing the difference between the Cell and the Dimension on the same lane, but because they are different companies i can not

Yeah, the uninformed just plain don't know any better.  They're the same people who think it'll be fine to use a high load particle ball on a desert.  Quite sad, really.  However, the people who actually understand ball reaction know that more hook isn't necessarily better.  Hopefully most people on this forum realize that...

302, Do us a favor & do it then.  Then stick to their boards.  This is a "Storm" forum board.

If you don't like the Dimension, then post a negative review yourself.  It's on the left of your screen.  You know, ball manufacturers. Just click on the Storm link & find Dimension.  YOu can be the 1st review.  Don't ask someone else to do your dirty work.

Here's a link for you, write it up.

The Lanemasters line was straight scarcasm...People that buy into their hype is as bad as the Lane #1 people. The previous owner of our proshop was on L&LM staff and all he raved about was 8 pounds of resin in everyball or some garbage like that... He souned like a bad preacher, that what I associate with L&LM now...lol

As far as the Dimension, this ball actually has my interest, but I really wish someone would do ball reviews on the actual performance, good and bad. Not just a Commercial for the ball to sell it to us. Thats my major gripe, I wanna know what the ball didn't do, or what happened when you missed it at the bottom or when the line spotted up, how did it roll and hit ?

We all don't go out in leagues everyday and shoot nothing but strikes, huh ?

The biggest problem with doing a review like that is... your mileage may vary.  You'll get different results when you miss it off your hand if you have a 4x4 pin down layout while I have a 5x3 pin up layout, or if you have box finish while I have polish, or if you have low ball speed and I have high ball speed, or if you have a lot of axis rotation and I have low axis rotation, etc. etc. etc.  The only thing really you can accomplish through these videos is to give you a basic idea of the ball's characteristic ball motion.  You can see what breakpoint shape it has, how quickly it wants to respond to friction, how much rollout it experiences when it gets exposed to a lot of friction, etc.  From there, it all comes down to so many variables it's not worthwhile to break it down much.  You'll probably have better results finding out that information from long-term, in-depth reviews that get posted both on the Reviews section and on this forum in general over time.  You'll see how it responds to different bowlers, different drillings, etc. instead of how it responds only to one specific guy.

You mean you don't shoot 900s every night?  You hack.

Oh the reason why he compared it to the Cell may be because there were several requests to do so.

Here is my real mini review included for my friend 302efi L/Lm since my post is pretty much ignored.

Well my verdict is in and again another great ball has come out, had it against the following today:

Dimension pin over ring 4 1/2 to pap cg stacked below no weight hole box finish.

Cell drilled 4 inch pin to pap, mb is 4 3/4 to pap ball is alot earlier than the Dimension does hook as much total but like I said earlier. Ball is a fresh cell with box 1 game of other usage.

Terminator pin over ring 4 1/2 to pap, factory polish still on the ball ball moves slightly less than Dimension more arcy and less of a defined move.

Terminator rebellion drilled 3 inch pin to pap ball glides up front then has a decent backend reaction. Has a good hit to it but sometimes does not finish hard enough factory polished a big jump down from the Terminator and much less than the Dimension and Cell.

The backend is alot like the Break but more of a strong arc versus skid snap that the Break gives me. Hit is way above average nothing under a 9 count and I was throwing the ball ok not close to good today.

Shot 266 the game I used the Dimension the entire game, had a few brooklyn's watch out miss left it keeps on going like the energizer bunny.

Score means nothing but another great ball too me much better ball than the Cell has been to me, have 2 Cell's good balls but for me not great.

I don't understand the Cell Hype? My Agents are much better than the Cell. Maybe a good ball - unfortunately not for me...

My Special Agent was my go-to ball for a full year...  Until I got the Cell.  I absolutely love my Cell to death.  It's the only ball that's even come out of my bag in three weeks on three vastly different oil patterns (a beat up tournament shot on wood lanes, a fresh house shot on synthetics, and a PBA Experience league).  I'm a speed dominant guy with moderately low revs, so I need a strong ball with a lot of continuation, and the Cell does that like nothing else I've ever thrown.

I wouldn't say the Cell does anything more than amazing than it works on every sport short. It's always the first ball out of my bag. Does the way it roll basically change the bowling world no, but for some reason everything about it matches up great with me on sport shots so it gets a ton of use.
