Amazingly easy!!  Why, just last night I shot 878, was completely drunk, with a spike in my left eye and a twisted left ankle.  Take away any one of the three and i'd have shot 900 for sure.  Dropped my average 5 pins.

I know thats a great acomplishment and such, but is he really all that good?  He's not very smooth, and he doesn't really come out of the ball that well.  He probably is good at repeating shots, but he should try a sport shot and then we will see how good he is.

This has got to be a joke otherwise it would of been on bowl.com or something from usbc.  The kid looks like he just learned how to bowl 2 weeks ago and he can throw the ball anywhere right and it funnels to the pocket.  Til usbc puts something up saying it is real and i think the whole thing is garbage

Well, the Storm site obviously thinks it's legit because they have an article about it on their website.

As for whole thing about the conditions he shot it on, what can you really say? Personally, I think that all of the 900s were probably shot on some seriously soft patterns, but, then again, a lot people shoot on such patterns and don't shoot those numbers. I haven't even popped 1 300 game so what room do I have to talk?

The fact is this, regardless of how soft the shot MIGHT HAVE BEEN, it takes something to be able to throw 36 in row. It's the same thing when Jeff Carter average 260+ a few years ago. Was the shot probably fairly accessible? Yes. Does that mean that you or I would have put up a similar average? No.

The shot was there and these guys hit it. That's not their fault. They did their jobs. If you want to call someone out, call out the USBC for not mandating tougher lane conditions.

I notice the people taking shots at the kid have no profile.  What are your credentials?  Would you even know a hard shot if it bit you on the bum?  I think Gene Kanak nailed it.  Also I watched the video.  Justanotherlefty805 must be an idiot.  First of all, his name pretty much admits he's just another no talent lefty that has shot 800.  So this kid has a few stick on you.  Jealous?  What make you think you deserve your 805?  I'm sure yours was shot on a flooded reverse block sport shot, right?  /rolleyes/  Second, the kid look like he has a pretty good form.  Certainly doesn't look like a beginner that just started 2 weeks ago.  Please put up your own video or go away.  From what you can see, the shots that are shown all look pretty consistent.  It's not like his breakpoint is 5 on some shots and 12 on others like some of the videos I've seen on this site.  Also, the video probably wasn't shot that night.  Maybe the league shot is a little tougher.  If we could see a list of the averages, we could somewhat gauge the toughness of the shot.  I would still guess it was thrown on a THS.  If so, so what?  Most of us throw on them a majority of the time and we're not shooting 900.  Congrats to Mr. Musthare.

Who cares if it's and "easy" shot or not, that's 36 strikes in a row. Good shots or bad, that is an awesome feat.

36 strikes in a row is nuts... especially when its within those 3 games to make it a 900.... but honestly... ALL of his scores are from that house... talk about knowing the shot.. BUT REGARDLESS he did it and thats awesome for him... now, getting to my point... why has this kid NEVER BEEN HEARD OF BEFORE.... and... why has he not bowled at Junior Gold, Has he been at JWTC or any other major Junior tourney... i just wanna know... WHERE THE HELL this guy came from... it says hes got this 850 and an 840... not too shabby.. but where is he when there is a national tournament... if hes bowling that well hes holding himself back from some gret competition from all over the US....

it also said something about 5 800's in the last year... that is something to not compare to a 900 honestly... but thats not too bad either... but its also not 7 800's in the last 8 months ;-)

I don't care if he stands 2 feet from the pins 36strikes is a big number. Anyone who takes shots at this kid are nothing but jealous. Conditions easy or hard is moot as the number of fluffy house shots are countless and yet a 900 isn't an everyday occurance. BO, not everyone aspires to doing nationals at a young age although as stated maybe he should challenge himself. Kudos to the young pup, hope he continues success. He is in a good region for that growth if he is willing to travel a little.

At first glance, I thought his name was Robert Mustshare, and I said to myself, "You're damn right he MUST share!"

You must have spelled his name wrong...

Try spelling his name correctly.  The correct spelling is Mushtare, and they do have him listed as bowling in the Watertown YABA Organization.

For all the naysayers...

This kid has excellent ball speed for a 17-yr-old.

Yes, it does look like the shot is a moat, but you still need to keep your speed and rotation consistent to strike. 36 shots in the hole could be a far cry from 900.

The whole fact about it not being on bowl.com it is approaved is bs because when jeff campbell shot his in a prebowl it was on bowl.com the next day even though it needed to be approved and if this was in usbc sanctioned league then it should be good to go.  Yeah it takes alot to shoot 900 but with conditions today it isn't as tough when you see people avg 260 for the year like jeff carter but jeff carter has done things elsewhere just not in one house.  The Jeremy sonnifield's 900 is the cream of the crop because he shot is on 3 different pairs of lanes that takes talent.  You can take all the honor scores in the world because frankly they really don't mean that much any more unless you are aiming for records but until this kid can prove himself on something tougher then the great wall of china.

Robert Musthare shot 900.  I would have choked in the 10th, scored 257, then I know that I would been so excited that I - almost rolled 300 - that I  would have struggled to break 150 for the next two weeks

Reguardless of the lane condition - great shooting!!

25 or 30 300's LOL .... i doubt that

the kid got the carry, granted he prolly had a lot of nutty shots in those 36 but we all know carry needs to be on your side to be pulling a 36 strike string... i wonder if it was a sport shot league... hmmm  JK .... obviously the shot would have had to be sweet... granted as said before 900 is 900 and not even 10 people have done it so thats pretty nuts in itself....

and as said before it would be nice to see him at some naitonal tourneys... why stay in the same house and bowl only there all the time...

I won't say anthing about this kid, don't know him, or the house he shoots in, but -

"why stay in the same house and bowl only there all the time..."

Could be same reason we have many who shoot a 240 or better average in the local house here, but can't break duece anywhere outside their home center!

According to him lucky lefty, like bowlers don't exaggerate. That kid looks dumber than a box of rocks, I don't know if he can even count up to 36.

Even if this kid is a "house legend" and benefiting from a standard league pattern, throwing 2 900s is still impressive.

The kid is obviously good but i have to agree with stanski. If you go to stormbowling.com, they have a video of an interview of the kid. wow. i think this one broke out of the mental asylum.
DON'T GET ME WRONG, THE KID IS PRETTY DAMN GOOD AT BOWLING

the kid subbed in a men's league at a different house last week and shot 560....when you don't bowl alone, on your own shot that you set up on the lane machine, it's a little different game...............

we have a great bowler around here...average near 230.

He told me he had a 480 last week.  Usually I look up twice a night and see 250 from him on a shot that I don't really see how he does it.  Not a sieve to the pocket!

He says..."s happens.  I couldn't get on track."

He had a 300 two days later at the 480 center.
