Works really well at 2000 it also
works very well with just a lighty hit
with a 2000 abralon by hand.

From what I discovered first-hand, you definately need some serious head oil if you plan on using the Second Dimension at 2000 abralon.  I threw about five shots with mine in practice one night and it was just too much, too early.  I had to throw some polish on top of it by hand to get it through the heads.  Turns out that's a great surface for me.  I've kept my Second Dimesion at that 2000 abralon underlying grit with just a coat of polish applied by hand since then.

All 3 of my 2nd are knocked down from factory surface...all roll well for me.  I have one I used at the USBC Open Tournament the last game of singles that read the lane well when the HyRoad was just too early.

I have both of my 2D's at 2000. One with polish and one without, and by far have had the most consistent reactions with those settings other than box finish. I find the 2000 finish give me a good range of patterns I can use them on.
