Drilling Layout for triple X
« on: March 15, 2005, 02:03:21 PM »
Currently I have a ERASER PEARL PARTICLE sanded. The ball was drilled with the pin next to the ring finger(about an inch apart) and the CG is about 4in below the ring finger. I am a stroker and speed is about 15mph. Don't know my rpm. The ball works well on medium oil but hooks too early on dry lane and doesn't hook on oily lane. How should I drill the triple-X so that I can throw it faster (like 16mph) and still hooks back on oily lane? or a versatile drillin layout so that I can play on both medium and oily lane?

The spec of the triple-x is 15lbs and 10oz, top weight is 2.9oz, and pin placement is 4.5-5. Thank you!!
