Either shine it up with Black Magic or have your driller put a weight hole on your PAP and take the sideweight down to below 1/2 oz.  The best thing for this ball is to keep it clean.  I have found with mine that its gets pretty dirty by around 9 games so I clean mine pretty frequently.  This should help

Scuff the surface a bit with a White or Grey scotchbrite pad.

This will blend out the skid/snap reactiona bit and moake it more controllable on the back.

Putting a hole on your axis will make it stand up earlier by changing the track flare and core shape, static weight really has no bearing on ball reaction. The ball surface is the most important factor in controlling a reaction. I doubt it is dirty because it would be hooking less overall not snapping to much control.

yea polish would make it snap harder. Bring the finish down very lightly to a matte finish, like 1000 or so SANDED, not polished.

DYNO298,

I have an ACE and I've experimented with it by dulling the surface. It definitely tames the snap reaction of the ball.  But for my style of play, which is throwing it with alot of speed, I could not get the ball to store enough energy to recover in the backend. I had to shine it back up (I sanded it to 800 grit, then put Storm Xtra Shine) to get the best reaction.  I only use the ball for medium-heavy to medium conditions.  Slides to much in Heavy Oil.

For some reason this ball is really snappy, like nothing iv ever thrown before, soon as the oil stops it takes off hard left, im like hrm ok ill play a little deeper... that dient go so well, this is a fresh oil shot too ill have to toy with it i guess maybe its jus because this ball isnt for me. I Throw dynothane. But im willing to try any new ball.

yeah i have this ball as well...drilled almost similarly as yours...pin above the fingers and rad in the strong...a couple of other things you could do is that if have any axis tilt is to come up more directly under the ball so its more a forward roll rather than some side roll...and perhaps to wait till some carrydown builds up in the back to tame its reaction...at times i would have to play the lane just to get the ball back to the pocket...otherwise youd get some nasty splits cause of the extreme angle your coming in from or if your lucky..itll crossover and carry the rack...

take it to 800 and put a light coat of polish on. Storm balls come factory 1500 grit polished most of the time, and doing this will tame some of that backend down.
