Strong Pearls....Byte vs Marvel Pearl vs Totally Defiant

Thoughts on these three? Which one is smoothest? Which one is the sharpest? Which one tends to be early or late?

I cannot fine info on the Marvel Pearl on BTM....anyone have the basic numbers?

Looking to use on Med oil fresh

Speed: 15.5 to 16
Revs: 230-260
Tilt: 18
Rotation: 65-75
PAP: 4 5/16 up 1

My fav ball of all time is an X Factor and still have it

Marvel Pearl is not assymmetric.  You can probably find the spec in the ball reviews section here.

For me, I am opinionated.

I had the marvel pearl reading the soonest and smoothest

The byte being the longest and sharpest..

Totally defiant in the middle...almost exactly.

And I believe it is also the the manufacturers intent to have it that way to be honest...

The bigger question is what do you need in a reaction?

Based on my specs, which one would be a better fit?  If the Byte is the most angular, my guess I might have to much skid for the. Byte based on my med high tilt and rotation. (I track 3" away from the holes)

Leaves the M Pearl and TD....which ever one tends to provide length and control.

Marvel Pearl is a very strong symmetric.  Low rg, medium high diff.  Byte is similar strength pearl, and fine on house shots, but Marvel Pearl is much more predictable and controllable on flatter patterns. 

So called strength is over rated.  Getting the ball into a roll at the proper point has a bigger impact on carry than opening up the lane with a big hook.  People don't understand that in the modern higher friction environment, the more boards you cross, the more potential for early burn out.

I use a TD as my benchmark ball.  Mine is not jumpy at all.  I don't have experience with the other 2.  My arsenal strongest to weakest Jackal, Train, Totally Defiant, Double Clutch Pearl, if that helps. IMO the TD does need dry boards or it will skid past the break point.

I have looked at all three balls you mentioned and ended up getting the optimus.  drilled for a extra length.  as a ball down I went with the punch out and love them both.  had 300 with the punch out last Saturday night.
