All Road Review

Storm All Road. This is a terrific benchmark ball. At first, it seemed like this ball might be very similar to the Hyroad Nano, which I had to put polish on because it just was too strong, but that really wasn’t the case. I drilled up 2 of these, with my 2 favorite layouts. I have had a lot of success with the original Hyroad and the Hyroad pearl so I wanted to drill these similar to see the difference. The All Road gets through the front part of the lane pretty well, and once it reaches the friction, does not over react. Makes a smooth transition down lane and is very predictable. My pin down All Road starts up a little sooner and is more responsive in the oil. My pin up All Road needs a little more friction and makes a slightly harder move down lane. Just like previous Hyroads, I tend to see the pins stay low to deck after the ball hits, which is a plus for improving pin carry. Having drilled up a Gravity Evolve at the same time, these 2 balls make a great 1-2 punch for a league night or on a sport pattern with moderate and or length of oil.
