All roads have been explored when looking for the technology to make up the Storm All-Road mid-performance bowling ball. The Inverted Fe2 weight block technology used in this ball allows more energy to be transfered to the pins. The NRG Hybrid reactive coverstock is unique and enhances the traction of the ball due to the Nano additive.

BALL MOTION
The All-road gets through the fronts very easy as with most hybrid covers. I drilled this with my favorite drilling. This ball is very predictable with the 4000 abralon finish. It is strong off the spot.
 COMMENTS
I drilled this ball pin up with my favorite drilling. I really like the motion of hybrid covers and this one does not disappoint. If you like the Hyroad series and hybrid covers  this ball is for you.

The All-Road features a combination of the inverted FE2 core found in the Hyroad series with the hybrid version of the NRG cover, which is found on the PhysiX and Super Son!Q, the solid version of which was on the Hyroad Nano.  The All Road is surprisingly controllable and a bit weaker than I expected.  I expected the length that the Hyroad series is known for, but I also thought it would be quite a bit stronger and boomier down lane than it actually is.  This is a relief, however, because it establishes it firmly as a compliment to the balls in the Thunder line instead of reaching up to overlap anything in the Master line.  It’s a great compliment to the Hyroad, because while the OG is long and really responsive down lane, the All Road offers a couple boards more hook and that same length, but a smooth, round, arcing shape that offers a shape alternative if you want a similar amount of hook that will blend the end of the pattern better.

Test condition: Mo Pinel designed house pattern - HPL panels - Flex Machine

After seeing how the Evolve read early, with the All-Road having NRG in the coverstock, I polished for the testing, due to current lane pattern and volume across the pattern. Had the same length as my PRO-Motion, but less aggressive in the breakpoint area and less angle entering the pocket but still produced better pin carry due to having a thicker cover on the ball. Could play straighter and less angle and also play super deep, nose bleed area for a lefty like me and open up the angles and the lanes for myself. Great additional to the legendary line of Hy-Roads...

The new ball in the road series is the All Road with the very successful  hyroad core wrapped with
The hybrid reactive with NRG.  With the NRG additive the All road rolls a little early
thus is smooth and low response downlane.  I drilled mine pin down with 5 inch pin no hole.
I absolutely love the ball motion I get with All road. With original hyroad I sometimes got a little over under reaction.
But with the NRG it really blends out the overall motion.
Giving me a string arcing motion without all the extra length.
I got the All road beneath a Phase 2 and super Sonia.  But above a hyroad pearl.
Very good addition to the hyroad line. As the hyroad nano was a little too early the All road is better
in that department.

Great Piece. This ball loves to see the friction. The All road glides through the fronts and when it gets that friction it makes a very strong move. Ball absolutely destroys the pins. Very fun ball to throw when the back ends are fresh.

The New Storm All-Road gives a whole new motion to one of the most successful lines of all-time. The iconic Inverted FE2 core is wrapped up in Nano Technology to give a smoother reaction. The All-Road is the earliest "Road" Ball I've thrown, and a great ball for tough oil-patterns.

I first tried the All-Road on a medium oil pattern on a very high friction surface. It's always a chore to fight the ball through the fronts but a little more tilt and the All-Road hit the spot I wanted. Mid-Lane Read helps control the backends. The ball tends to labor when it gets right down-lane and having a ball like the All-Road that never misses the mids really opens up the lane.

I think the more rev-dominant and speed challenged bowlers will really like this piece on sport patterns as it's strong enough to take advantage of it's consistent roll on higher volumes but doesn't over-react off the back-end.

The lastest ball in the Thunder line, the All-Road.

It features the same core that has been in all Hyroad's and Nano hybrid cover recently used on the Super Soniq and PhysiX.

The All-Road retains the same shape you have come to expect from a ball in the Hy-Road line---well, a touch smoother because of the cover. The difference between this and others is where it starts to read the lane. It starts to read the lane a bit earlier. It plays a bit stronger than other current Hy-Road pieces.

So far for me this one has been very useful on fresh league conditions. My local centers play a bit on the dry side, so my recent league arsenal has been a mix of Hustle's. The All-Road is obviously stronger than those but since it reads early enough, I can get away with starting with it. It may only be a 1-2 game ball for me and my style but its a nice option to have in the bag.

Can’t really mess with a great thing here!  The success of the Hyroad series is no secret so it was time for the hybrid All Road to continue that history.  For my style of play, I need to drill my Hyroads with a strong 3-3/8 pin for max flare given the high RG of the ball.  I went with a 60 x 3-3/8 x 25 which put the pin to the right of my ring finger.  What I was looking for was the same shape as the Hyroad X, but with the ability to play on higher volume conditions….I got just that!  This ball is a great transition ball when you need to move in but you still need surface to read the mids with great recovery on the backend.  I was able to keep moving in without loss of energy as the ball made it’s way back to the pocket, super fun to throw!

If you’re in need of that “in between” ball where your pearl is too clean but your solid is too strong, and you still want great backend recovery, go pick up an All Road today and keep on bowling up a Storm!

The All-Road has the same inverted Fe2 core as all the Hyroads, and the NRG hybrid cover on the Physix and Super Soniq. It reads the mid-lane harder than the Hyroad, Hyroad Pearl and Hyroad X but still has that Hyroad shape. Because of the Nano tech in the cover, it grabs the lane a little more than any other Hyroad and it blends out oil patterns really well.

Here comes another great addition to the Hy-Road family. Strom is bringing you the all new All-Road. The All-Road has the incredibly successful Hy-Road core inside, wrapped around the cover originally featured on the Physix, Hybrid Nano Technology. What this cover and combo gives the bowler is the perfect step below your benchmark bowling ball. When something like your Phaze II becomes too early and not quite giving you the correct shape and the corner pins tend to show their face a little more often then you would like, the All-Road fits the gab perfectly from a solid to a pearl.

The All-Road is the perfect hybrid option that gives you nice length with incredible backend. I was really impressed with how much this ball hooks downlane. I was expecting this ball to be quite smooth with the hybrid nano cover stock because the nano coverstock is known for being controllable and smooth, but with this cover and core combo, I saw a clean and more angular shape. I still see the predictability of this ball, but I wasn’t expecting it to shape as much as it did. Believe me, I’m not complaining because this ball hits like a train!

The AllRoad features R2S hybrid nano technology wrapped around the proved inverted FE2 core. I pride myself on my ability to be honest when giving reviews. Luckily for me, 95% of what I drill matches up extremely well to my game. Unfortunately for me, the All Road is not one of them. I expected it to be much cleaner and faster down-lane than what it actually is. I drilled it with a weaker pin position and smaller Val angle to try and compliment the motion I expected out of it. What I found surprised me. It’s much earlier, stronger and slower to respond to friction. After filming this video, I actually plan on plugging and re drilling it with a stronger layout. What I do like a lot about this ball is it’s ability to accept a wide variety of surface changes. I was able to throw it with a fresh 1000 in the later part of a tournament with some success as well as 1000 + Step three to snap off a couple of league pots. When compared to the pro motion, the All Road is visibly cleaner through the front part of the lane and slightly straighter off of friction. I can see this ball being fantastic for straighter players that want to shut their angles down, or higher rev rate players that want to drill it stronger and be able to stay right for a longer duration of time. Review:
This is a much different addition to the Road line than what you would expect. Compared to our Pro Motion this ball is much straighter down lane with a much more direct turn. If you like playing right and down the boards or are a high rev player looking to stay to the right long into a set then this is an excellent fit for you. The thing we love about this ball is it is a different look than what most people have in their bag. This is a great tournament ball when the lanes start to get a little sloppy mid lane. This ball will be very controllable to the break point and hit like any ‘Road’ line ball does.

Storm’s latest release in the Hy-Road line brings us the popular core with the recently popular NRG Hybrid cover stock.  I drilled mine 5 x 5.5 x 2 and after throwing this ball for while it was very smooth off the pattern. The All Road is a lot earlier and smoother than the Hy-Road X which leads to it being just a little stronger. I would compare this to the older Hy-Road Nano with the All-Road being a touch longer.

I drilled my All Road up 75 x 4 x 30. I have touched up the surface with 2000 and 3000 pads. It seems to fit my style at 3000 CTD pad. I have always been hit or miss with the Road series weight blocks going all the way back to the Thunder Roads and T-Roads. A ball like the Cross Road would fit my game and I would throw it until the cover stopped reacting, but then a ball that everyone loved like the Hy Road I couldn't get to hit no matter the layout or surface. The All Road is a perfect fit for my game. I can throw this on medium (39-42 feet) patterns and go away from the pocket or line it straighter and get it to hold and hit. I am going to drill a compliment ball since I throw this on both league and sport patterns so well. I figure a slightly weaker pin distance in the 5" range but with a smaller val angle like 20* will make this one push and tip downlane when the 4" one is too early. Drill this one up and be pleased as the cover and core match up well together.

So far the All Road is a great compliment to my HyRoad & HyRoad X. When my HyRoad OG is responding a little too violently to friction I move to the All Road for a little cleaner response without losing the momentum on the back part of the lane. It is earlier and smoother than my HyRoad OG and blends the patterns better thus making transition easier for me. I have the All Road laid out the same as my HyRoad X (pin in my finger) and the NRG Hybrid that the All Road is wrapped with definitely packs more of a punch leaving less ten pins and 8 pins all together. Although my HyRoad X used to do the same so I am interested to see if this cover tames down the same way over time. Over-all I am really enjoying throwing this ball, it is a shape that I am super comfortable with and know I can always go to when I don’t know what else to do.
