Anarchy or Reign Supreme for described shot
« on: October 21, 2010, 03:05:42 PM »
So I'm thinking of getting an Anarchy or reign Supreme, I'm using some older gear. A Double Agent and Thunderstruck Pearl. I'm going to keep the thunderstruck since when the backend is fresher or a drier shot it still hits great. Eventually I'd like to get a third ball in the lineup but want something for the type of shot I encounter every week.

I usually bowl on an open house shot, and in my league it's a later league after some house bowling or a VERY casual league(mostly people throwing plastic balls). The type of reaction I get is very weak at the pocket(5's on pocket hits, lots of 10's etc). My Thunderstruck seems to roll up early when I play straight up about the 5th board. I'm a higher speed, med rev player. The double agent is too strong from that spot but doesn't have any hitting power on the backend anymore unless it's a fairly fresh shot. I try to slow down and move inside but none of the gear I have recovers, it skids in the front and doesn't have enough juice on the backend when it hits the outside friction.

How would you describe a shot like that, feels like a wet center with a lot of carrydown. So I was looking at an Anarchy or reign supreme. I'm leaning towards the anarchy since I can get through the drier stuff on the outside clean and have more omph than my thunderstruck on the backend, and I'm also guessing it's much stronger so I can move inside. If not I may go with a 4000 Abralon finish on it to get a little more surface.

Any help would be great, I'm hoping to drill one up this week.
