Any Flash Forces?

Has anyone thrown or seen this ball? It hasnt been very popular in my area, havent seen one as a matter of fact.

I've seen a few of them here and there.  The last one I saw thrown was by Steve Hardy as the last NEBA I was at.  Man what a good read he had on the lane with that ball!!

The main reason in my area that there haven't been a lot of these out there is the timing at which it came out.  There are a good number of people throwing Flash Points so it kind of saturated that market place for right now.  I would imagine that well sale start to pick up toward the end of summer we will sell mor of them.

I have 2 of them drilled. One weak and one strong. Very clean ball with nice arc back end. Flash point is a little flippier on the back...but should be with the pearl cover. I like both of mine. However, I think the release timing is off on this ball and probably people won't buy it.

I just started throwing mine about a week ago...it's strong, but has a very controlled arc reaction.  It rolls great through the pocket, and clears the heads with ease, and it fits nicely between my hot wire and reloaded.

Yes, I agree, Storm didnt time the Flash Force's release very well.

Well since it's the end of leagues, 75% of bowlers are reluctant to buy a ball at this time, much less bowl.  That's probaly why you aren't seeing them.  IMO some of the best equipment in recent memory has come out near the summer or end of leagues.  Last season the Thrash and Superfreak came out in the summer as well as the Phenom.  Some good storm summer releases I remember were the X Factor Reloaded which is pretty popular and the Power Charge.

Getting ready to Drill 2 more Flash Forces.

Ball #1 for a Tournament with a 41' Foot pattern.
Drilled Ball #1 with 5" pin down with CG kicked about an 1" positive with Extra hole at 6" from Center of grip through CG line. Put a little surface on it (800) for the fresh to help control the skid jerk reaction. The surface and weight hole should give me a good controlled look on the backends without reading too early. Just a great layout for control and to roll through the mids the coverstock/core combo even with the surface will still get through the heads cleanly for a few games until the heads go away then either chase it left a bit or change balls. Hopefully we wont be able to blow a hole in this pattern that quickly on the fresh Morning Squad.

Ball #2 for a Tournament with a 41' Foot pattern.

Drilled with a 6" pin down No extra hole box finish. CG basically center of grip maybe kicked a bit right (1/2"). This will basically be used when the heads start to go away and like pattern B people are chasing left fast! Probably a  second or 3rd shift ball on the RPC Pattern. (I have a Reload laid out this way and its fantastic on the B patterns playing deep.) All depends on where people play in front of you on these format tournaments.
