Need advice on what ball to buy
« on: March 08, 2006, 01:26:27 PM »
I am not to up on bowling technology and what not, so I was hoping if someone could give me advice on what type of ball I should take. Looking for a particle/reactive ball

Money isn't really an options I have a solid amount saved up except I won't buy an alien, scorpion by elite

I am a high school bowler
lefty
medium speed
medium rev.
med-low track
I bowl on wood lanes for my high school

any suggestions

If you need any more info to decide let me know

I am leaning towards a trifecta or passion so that is why I posted on this board

thanks for your helps

I'm left handed with primarily the same characteristics as you.  Find an Ultimate Inferno from Brunswick, have it drilled up stacked leverage, throw it in a ball polisher for 1 minute...and you have a versatile ball.

That's my main ball right now, and I love it on all types of lanes.  With the polish if you run into a flood, it skates a lot.  You can always take a scouring pad to it if needed, then re polish it later.

Just an idea for you to look at.

Yeah id second that on the diablo..when things start to get squirrely i always can pull out the diablo and get a nice smooth arc...never seems to be condition specific.

The new Track Arsenal Artillery is an awesome ball for an all around look on the lanes.  I have sold 6 of these balls in the last 3 days and its brand new.

GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS

If you're looking for a good all around ball, the Diablo is a pretty good choice for a Storm ball.  Another decent choice may be the RG Silver Streak SE because of the solid/pearl hybrid coverstock.  A couple more versatile balls for a little more $$$ would be either the Storm X Factor Ace or the Oracle Vision, which is a Pearl Particle Cover.
