Have to leave 1 ball out for Nationals
« on: March 24, 2015, 10:50:52 AM »
Looks like my 3 ball roller will be too heavy to check in at airport. I will have to bring 4 balls instead of 5. Definitely taking Dream On     Respect       Super Natural  and either the IQ Tour or Fusion.  Leaning towards leaving Fusion home since the IQ Tour is a solid and I already will have 2 other Hybrids. Anybody who has bowled out there feel free to give me your opinions on what ball you think I should leave home. Currently have IQ Tour at 1000 grit but I am thinking about taking it back up to 4000 grit, like it was OOB. It looks like there is plenty of hook out there by what I have watched on the internet.   Thanks guys for your opinions.

IMO, I'd take the IQ Tour and leave the IQ Tour Fusion. Unless one of the other mentioned balls are better benchmark balls for you, it seems like not taking the IQ Tour would be a mistake. Taking the IQ Tour Fusion looks like it would overlap the Dream On and the Respect.

I would take the tour and leave the fusion as well. You are going to want something smooth off the spot.

Thank you.  I am thinking of bringing Tour and Dream On surface to 4000 abralon and bringing Respect as is. Looks like a little surface works better from what I watched on the internet. Respect is shiny but out hooks both balls easily. I think Tour at 1000 will be too much.

I bowled last weekend and didn't use any polished stuff. I'd leave the Pearl IQ at home for sure unless you are speed dominant.
