Anyone still throwing the storm code black?
« on: December 18, 2018, 10:12:45 PM »
Just picked up a storm code black from a friend who didn’t like it. Plugged it and redrilled it pin down with a small cg kick. Ball is sweet, rolls heavy and revs up fast with the strong asym core, and the pearl cover is real clean through the fronts. Ball is clean and smooth off the spot with good continuation. This code black gives me a motion that fills a gap in my arsenal. I can’t remember a storm ball with this unique combination. Rs2 pearl cover with rad asym core. Kinda reminds me of my vg nano pearl of the past, but even cleaner through the heads. I know this ball is a couple years old now, and discontinued. Wonder why this ball was discontinued so fast. Nice looking ball with the polished black pearl finish. Should have had great shelf appeal. Was wondering if anyone has used, or is still using it with success today. I’m looking forward to throwing it more.

I really wish they did not discontinue the Code Black, just got a second one from a friend in Vegas. Super clean fronts with a big sweeping backend. It’s been my favorite 2nd/3rd game ball since it’s release.

I have one that I use sparingly, but the results have been good enough to justify me buying a NIB for the shelf.
