International Balls legal for USBC play?
« on: February 09, 2009, 02:26:27 PM »
Long story short; after league tonight I may be in the market for a replacement for my Paradigm Domination.  I figure the easiest way to replicate the reaction is to buy an international ball; one of the overseas dominations still have the reactor pearl cover.

So my question is: would the Total Domination (or other international storm ball) be legal for USBC play?  The only tourney that I bowl where I know equipment is check is Nationals.

I would just hate to buy a ball that I can't legally use.

Thanks

Head on over to www.bowl.com and there are lists of conforming and non-conforming balls. I'd give you the direct link but I don't have it on my office computer.

I can tell you that I've yet to see a Storm overseas ball NOT on the "conforming" list, so you're probably safe. But double-check me to make sure.

If they are on the USBC site for equipment that is certified than YES

Thank you Jess

I saw all the overseas dominations on the list.

Much appreciated.

You should think about picking up a COmplete domination...great piece, I absolutely love mine...comes really close to my original paradigm I had...
