Yes!  Been waiting for this one for awhile since I passed on the Intense line.  This one has got to be coming stateside, since there is currently no strong pearl in the Premier line.

They just posted on the stormrotokorea Instagram about it. I'm not sure if it's strictly a Korean release but what I do know is that it has some form of R2S

So the new IQ Pearl isn't a domestic release? Any info on it

Yep - best color choice yet for it imo.

i like the gold.  now i do know color can affect reaction, as noticed between the gold and teal honey badgers, but it should be similar.  and i've never had an iq before, so this looks like it'll be a good birthday gift for me right when the season starts

IQ gold pearl was a little more hook, roll towards the pins. IQ 30 was more rounded and continuous for me. The IQ 30 was closer to an actual pearl IQ Tour, than was the gold ball. Gold ball and the Fusion complimented each other better.

Just my take and experience with them.

AstroPhysiX for the win!

Whoa!  I had no clue that Storm was putting out another IQ pearl.  The Emerald looks good in the YouTube video, but I don't know if I can use two new balls with the R2S Pearl surface right now.  They would definitely be competing for time on the lanes.  I bought the Super SonIQ about a month ago and I don't even have 10 games on it!  It's STRONG!  LOL!

ASTROPHISIX for the win!  It's ON!!

So with R2S, is this ball going to sit under the Intense Fire? Feels like this and the IQ emerald will be fighting for the same spot in the bag.

I wish they had stuck with Nano for the Physix line, they have R2S coming out their ears lately.

I had the same initial reaction to R2S . . but it's the cleanest and quickest pearl cover in the lineup right now, and with the PhysiX having so much torque down lane, R2S Pearl IS the smartest cover to provide both a complimentary and familiar reaction with the Astro and the OG.  The hipster in me wanted NRG Pearl, but backing up and looking at the facts, this was the best choice across the board, especially for people still lamenting the loss of the Code Black.

You lost me though with an asym ball with an .053 diff and a .017 int diff fighting for a spot in the bag with sym ball with a .029 diff . . I'm gonna have to process that and get back to you . .

Exactly where my mind went as I reserve my Code Black for broken sport patterns, because I'm yet to find something that fits the spot as well it does. Clean yet midlane read from the core.

Truth.  I would imagine them being quite different shapes.

Saw somewhere in the initial news onslaught that the Dif was in the .4s, or maybe I'm tired and flipping back between this and the Badgers too many times got myself all confused lol. Either way, yes, I will walk back on that same spot in the bag statement. :)

I thought the Astro Physix was Nano Pearl as well. I have 2 of the OG Physix, not sure if I need a 3rd one. I was going to pickup a Idol Pearl or something symmetric for house shots to compliment my Idol Purple. Maybe if that Astro is sort of pink widow or scandal pearl like, I'll would consider it. Or the IQ Tour Emerald, sort of regret selling my IQ Nano.

I have a Code Red that I think might be similar to the Astro.

Luke
Speaking of Idol Pearl, still don't like it?

While I don't see the Astro being really at all like the Code Red, I pray I never buy a ball that sucks that bad for my style again.

Oh wow, I drilled another Idol Pearl and it's amazing, I've ordered several more.  It's made me so much money and is one of the first balls out of the bag everywhere on everything.  Lol you must not follow my channel or me on social media . .

Oh . . well that was terrible information lol.  Lines will always always be paired with the core.  PhysiX will always have the Atomic core, Codes will always have the RAD4, IQ's will always have the C3, etc., and if they don't, it'll be a variance on the name to indicate that.  Son!Q's for example have the Centripetal HD.  Also, all Premier line releases will always always be asymmetrical.
