Sanding A Nano Pearl
« on: November 07, 2011, 05:27:24 PM »
I purchased a Nano Pearl beacuse I didn't have a strong pearl for when the lanes start to dry out. Since then  the center where I bowl replaced the heads and started putting out a lot more oil. I am unable to use this ball because of the extra oil. I can still move outside with it but that shot is very inconsistant because it is totally flooded outside of 6. I was wondering if anyone has tried taking thier pearl to 2000, or 4000 and if so how it worked for them. I like yhe way the ball carries I just can't use it at the house I bowl at and hate just leaving it in the bag every week.

I have done it plenty of times with pearl reactives. Try 2000 first, and if it's not right hit it at 4000 on the spinner for about 15 seconds.
