Title: Ball Above and Below a Sync?
Post by: duvallite on February 15, 2018, 08:38:54 PM
I'm planning on picking up 2 new balls in the next month or so, looking for a ball up and a ball down to compliment my Storm Sync (500-4000 finish), the main ball I'm currently using in leagues on our medium THS.  I'm lacking both a good light oil and a good heavy oil option.  I like the overall shape and angular backend the Sync gives me, and do pretty well with it on medium conditions, so would like the new balls to shape similarly.  Stroker mainly, maybe a tweener.  I've had decent luck with Storm, Roto, and Hammer.  Suggestions?

The Sync was a relatively lazy ball, even new. Any of todays stronger balls would be significantly stronger. You might be better off with a Phaze II and either a Hyroad/Hyroad Pearl.

Stronger option: Hammer Rip'd solid, Storm Sure Lock,
Weaker ball: anything shiny.  Can't go wrong with a hyroad hybrid, or even the hyroad pearl.  However something like a all out show off, hustle ink, or a matchup may be a better dry lanes peice.

Thanks for the advice.  Yeah, the Sync was never very popular, but it usually works pretty well for me lol, at least on medium oil.  All of my gear is pretty old and too similar, so I really need to update.
