Ball Down From Omega Crux
« on: December 14, 2020, 08:01:26 PM »
Looking for ideally 2 options for when the Omega is reading to early.  One that will allow me to stay left and keep my angles closed and one for when i need to move inside and play more of the lane.

Thanks

The IQNP was definitely on the short list of considerations.  Then was also considering either the trend or Astro physix for when I need to get deep

Let me give you my .02 on the IQNP. It's a very nice ball, but, for me, it's VERY strong, especially down lane. I don't consider myself a cranker by any means, and I still have to get way left in order to use the IQNP. It offers more midlane read than my IQ Tour Pearl (gold), but it backends about just as well.

Now, I haven't thrown an Omega, so I'm not exactly sure just how strong that one is. Still, from my experience, I can't imagine the IQNP being a very big step down at all. As such, I would look more at the IQ Tour Solid as a step down from your Omega. The IQ Tour Solid is one of the best benchmark balls ever, one that should definitely allow you to keep the ball more in front of you. From there, you could add an Astro, Trend, or Emerald to get further inside and wheel on it.

Just my thoughts, so take them for what they're worth. Good luck!

Don't laugh   how about the Roto grip Hustle PBR, a very nice ball for entry level
