Best solid ball out as of today for a THS

Trying to get some opinions on what you bowlers think is the best solid ball out as of today for a THS on synthetic lanes. I have a Fusion and a Hyroad Pearl but would like to add a solid to my bag. Throw mostly Storm now but would consider a different brand depending on what I hear. Close to buying a Hy Road Solid but want to make sure it doesn't just sit in my bag. I am looking for a nice solid ball that I can use on my house shot to start the night. Would like to use for 3 games but tough to do on today's patterns. Can drop down to my Fusion or even further down to my Hy road pearl. I hate to buy a ball and then regret it later. Nobody can guarantee the ball will work for sure but I just want to get some more info before I decide.

The Melee Cross has been my go-to solid for the past month.  It does everything I need.

Motiv Covert Revolt.  It's very smooth and controllable yet crushes the pocket with its continuation.  Plus you can easily chase the oil in a bit as well.  That ball can be used on virtually all fresh medium patterns as well as medium-heavy.  It's one of the better solids that I've thrown in a while.

SVstar,

Could you give a quick synopsis of the difference you see in the HyRoad Solid and the Wipeout both balls with the same coverstock.

If you would like to expand it for others and include the Hysteria and the IQ tour Solid for others also.

Funny you guys say that. I actually just moved to an area that has much less oil than I am used to. Stuff like my Darkness and Network stay home, and my King Cobra and Hook Hybrid come with. Funny thing is, one of the great bowlers at that house is on Motiv staff, and in the vids can use everything (so far). I don't think I could get a Covert Revolt down the lane, but it would be a great solid ball.

Ringer Solid for the $$!! Yeti Unleashed and Rude Dude if you have some oil. At our place, we're using a 43' pattern and 24mL of oil. The Rude Dudes and Yeti Unleashed are being used with great success. The nod goes to the Rude Dude on our THS because of the polished cover and lower diff. I have not seen the HyRoad Solid or wipe out in action so I can't comment on them.

The HyRoad Solid is definitely a little stronger overall than the WipeOut which is no slouch in its' own right.
With the HyRoad Solid I've noticed what some people on here have, that it seems a little over/under in the way that no matter what surface or layout is used that it hasn't been easy to get a consistent reaction
However, the WipeOut has been completely opposite for me. I wouldn't consider it a weak ball but it gives a very consistent reaction considering the different factors like surface and layout.

The IQ Tour Solid is everything as described in reviews. A smooth, consistent solid reaction that works great on tougher(flatter) conditions. When comparing it to the WipeOut, the IQ Tour will be a little smoother overall because of the core difference.

I can't really say anything on the Hysteria except for what I've heard or seen in videos. No one around here has one and I don't know why.

I got my mother a WipeOut when she was in need of a new 13lb ball since she couldn't throw her 14s anymore and she's been really happy with it as she knows what it is going to do when she throws it.

Sticking with storm IQ Tour solid. Great ball, and a proven track record. I love my hy road pearl, and am thinking of the solid myself.

I know I'm not the norm, but I think the Pitch Black is a THS killer. Avg over 235 with it over summer on a regular THS in 2 seperate houses and many tourneys. Now only if they bring the Pitch Red Pearl to the states that would be awesome.
