I have to go with 2 .......
Marvel-S
iQ Tour Solid.
money,money, money !!
-
Marvel Pearl
-
VIRTUAL GRAVITY
-
IQ Tour Pearl, IMHO
-
El Nino
Virtual Gravity
-
The original Hy-road after 9+ years being produced
-
Hy-Road the consumers say. IQ Tour is my opinion.
-
Anarchy, followed by Trauma ER.
-
Wipe Out
IQ Tour
-
hyroad and Depth Charge for me.....oh that ER ball lol
-
Tough, tough; IQ Tour, Marvel Pearl, Virtual Gravity, and the Hy-Road, no questions asked.
-
Virtual Gravity/T-Road Solid/ T-Road Pearl great 1-2 punch
-
I agree with the marvel s, but hyroad (at least the original) beats out IQ tour anyday!
-
Frantic.
-
I really like my Phaze Grip
-
I would say Hy-Road and IQ Tour.
The balls having staying power in an era where stuff disappears in 6 months.
My son absolutely loves his IQ Tour. He’ll never not have one in his bag, provided it’s made or he has one left.
-
Hy-Road Pearl & Marvel Pearl
-
Don't throw many Storm balls but best ball for me was the Frantic also
-
There's several that have helped storm stay on top of the competition like the virtual gravity, t-road solid, marvel pearl etc
But the answer is the hyroad, and Iq tour. Both balls are big sellers, and have had much success on tour.
It seems now though both are slowing down in popularity...
Can't wait to see if they do a 10 year anniversary hyroad????!!!!
-
Virtual Gravity
Special Agent
Black Thunder
IQ Tour
If they remade the VG or Special I would buy a case.

Slowing down in sales?

Just don't see as many as you used to, the iq tour is known as the 9/ machine. When is rheblast time you saw either being thrown on tv?
I m just assuming but I don't think sales are up?...
-
Don't have a ton of experience with Storm balls per se, but enjoy what I've owned over the years, and my favorite being my trusted and true HyRoad. :D
-
Storm... those are the balls that smell, right?
Trauma ER, without a doubt. Granted, I haven't really thrown Storm much. Had a Thunder. That ball was rad. Erase it was meh.
If I had to put together a Storm lineup right now, I'd say Sure Lock, Phaze II, Code X, SoniQ, HyRoad, Pitch Black.
THAT BEING SAID, Roto Grip's line up has looked better than Storm's in my eyes for years. That lineup would go Hyper Cell Fused, Dare Devil Trick and Danger, All Out Show off and an Ink.
-
Sales say:
Hyroad & IQ Tour
Personally:
El Nino
OG Virtual Gravity

My first question would be where on earth would you need that much firepower with a Code X, Sure Lock, and Phaze II.

If you're speed dominant and bowl tournaments with more volume on the regular, I can see having these 3 with different surfaces and layouts to differentiate them.
If you're only bowling house shots, not so much.

Gotta cover the heavy stuff when you run into it.
So the HyRoad and SonIQ would be in the house shot bag. Maybe I would swap out the X for a Black.

Favorite Solid: IQ Tour
Favorite Pearl: Code Black
Virtual Gravity and X-Factor for nostalgia winners!
I've tried a couple Hyroads but found them to be too sensitive on fresh THS and too aggressive for sport. Although my game is more rev dominated then most.
-
So many storm balls over the years to choose but her we go.
Rapid Fire solid or Original Shift
Honorable mention: spitfire, surefire, banshee, special agent, trauma ER, hyroad, t road solid, tour power
Best dry lane ball ever, bubble gum flame reactive
-
Virtual Gravity
Tour IQ
-
Ride. That ball made money in post league KOH tournaments. Is there even a comparable replacement out there now?
-
Best Storm ball ever is all relative to the operator's style. So this is a subjective post for sure.
My favorite Storm pieces are the VG; the Furious; and the Prodigy.
Doesn't mean they were the best....just that they hit well for me!
-
For me, the Frantic was the best ball. Even though that ball was meant more for medium-light oil, there was a ton I could do with it and it had a spot in my bag for a couple of seasons. Following the Frantic is the Hy-Road. Without question, it is a great benchmark ball.
-
The mix Jesper proves it's the bowler not the ball.
-
alpha crux...shot my 2nd highest game with it: 237
-
Sorry to keep beating a worn out drum but my OG hy-road makes money.
-
IQ tour solid
-
Reign supreme. Mine rolled just like a hyroad. Same ball in my opinion, just different color.
-
Hy-road Pearl
-
The RIDE. I got it when it first came out and I still use it today. it's the most consistent and versatile ball in my bag and use it all the time.
-
Hyroad best Storm ball of all time. IQ Tour solid was just to hit or miss for me.
-
Opposite for me. IQ Tour for me; Coincidentally the Hy-Road was hit or miss as well; Go figure.
-
Original Shift, Paradigm, and the original Trauma were all favorites
-
Have to agree with Jesse James. Its personal preference based on style. For me, Green Bolt, El Nino, Virtual Gravity were very successful. I won multiple local tournaments with all 3. Current Marvel Pearl is right up there, but I am getting too old to win a lot with it
-
Dream On!!
Hey, Storm made it...
-
I would have to go with the Marvel Pearl and believe it or not, the old plastic blue roto...remember those?
-
Second dimension
-
T Road solid
-
Opposite for me. IQ Tour for me; Coincidentally the Hy-Road was hit or miss as well; Go figure.
:) Which IQ Tour? There were only 17 of them. :):):)

Surprised at how many young bowlers do not remember the Virtual Gravity. It had possibly a bigger effect on bowling scores than the original Brunswick Danger Zone and that's saying a whole lot.
While the Hy-Road is possibly the most versatile ball Storm has ever made, no ball resulted in so many high scores, for the average bowler, as the Virtual Gravity. None!

Virtual gravity was sn interesting ball. I drilled mine after watching a couple of seniors shooting great in a high roller at Sams Town. I didnt really have a lot of luck with it at first, snd wasnt even taking it to dome tourneys. Then it got some lane polish and suddenly it turned in to a go to ball in every tournament as I started to move inside

Hustle ink or og hyroad
