Amazing Second Dimension
« on: March 03, 2009, 04:29:39 AM »
I just wanted to let everyone know how amazing the Second Dimension really is.  It reads the lane so well and makes such a strong move at the breakpoint.  I drilled it up Friday night, Saturday in a scratch tournament on the Kegel Boardwalk pattern I started the first 3 games with the Second Dimension and shot 279-263-279 for 821, first 3 games out of the box.  Then last night in league I had 300 with the same ball.  This ball is very versatile.  By far the best ball in my bag right now.

yep had 5 games over 265 with it in under 10 days, ball is the real deal on a house shot. At nationals let's just say you need alot more revs for it to work well, too long up front and too angular off the dry for my liking on that pattern.

Just curious......right or lefthander? How'd you drill yours? Down and in? or swinging it?

Did you encounter any carrydown?

I'm right handed with pretty high ball speed, 19mph.  I drilled it 4.5" pin to PAP with MB just left of VAL. Pin is up and to the right of my ring finger.  The 821 was going straight down 2 board.  300 was playing 14 out to 6 at break point.  Carry down started to push the ball a little long but I just slowed my speed down a little bit and it picked up better and I only moved a couple boards.

He walked all over me.  If he could have picked a spare the first couple games, and got a little better carry he could have been 20 - 30 pins ahead of me.  He really did bowl very well.
