Yes Marvel Pearl is a step down from Zero Gravity, but I have to ask. Why would you want a Zero Gravity if you dont like skid/flip reaction? This ball is Very angular for a solid. Its also not a particularly strong solid. I am not saying its a bad ball at all, but Storm designed this ball to be more usable on house conditions(aka weaker). It gets through the fronts well for a solid and has a very angular move to the pocket while being able to handle a moderate amount of oil. Its not really a heavy oil ball. If you want something that will handle alot of oil without being too angular, you might want to look elswhere(like a Marvel-S or Hyper Cell.) This is my general opinion without knowing how you bowl or what type of conditions your going to be on, so take from this what you may.
