At the end they show the difference between the Gold and the 30

Thoughts?

I saw that when the video was originally posted. I'm not sure what to think. I think it's possible Storm could have altered the cover formula slightly

It should've had a Root Beer scent

It's like a bronze/brown/black color. Our shop got one in today

Color aside, I feel the difference between the two comes down to use. Unless Josh drilled up a NIB goldie, it probably has some games on it. One thing I've noticed about the R2S covers is that they smoothen out after 15-20 games. Just personal opinion.

To me it's all about being able to recreate that 1500 polished surface. If u can duplicate that I think you can bring the OOB reaction back fairly closely.  It's a difficult surface to re create tho.

I agree, I think it's the toughest surface to replicate. I've come close a couple times with my Virtual Energy and a Crossroad I had. I found a fresh 3000 surface along with rubbing some black magic polish by hand and throwing it on the spinner with Reacta Clean came close

I pick mine up Wednesday before league.  I'm going with the same layout and surface prep as my Gold to start out.  I can't wait!
